The honey, on arrival, was in a small, cube box and it was wrapped very tightly in bubble wrap. After finally getting it all off (packaged tightly), the honey only leaked slightly from the sides. Expect a hard, plastic container. I live in Florida and the local honey is too strong for me, and this was not as sweet and very smooth. Comb was delicious too: I either chewed big chunks or just swallowed it all of it was smaller and mixed in honey. Second order came in today. I highly recommend this for anyone: Great price, for delicious product.Also, honey does not expire, nor does it need to be refrigerated. The date listed is the sell by date, which past that date honey may crystallize. This is perfectly normal!

Super good and sweet, but a little sticky around the package

OMG. I don't normally rave about things like honey, but...this is totally worth it! I didn't even think that I was a big honey fan...I mean, I always thought that it was okay...a little too sweet for my tastes...but good in tea...etc...etc...However...This stuff is delicious! Like truly delicious! I'm like some of the other reviewers...I eat this stuff right out of the plastic container, (which came to me totally intact, neat, and easy to open), and it's NOT corn syrupy sweet, I mean it is sweet cause it's honey, but not like overpowering sweet. Like an addictive type of sweet. I take a spoonful and eat it delicately and slowly..even chewing the comb, (yes I do that), then as soon as that spoonful is gone, I'm craving another...it's like golden crack, (not that I've ever tried that..I just hear that it's addictive). Beware when purchasing this, if honey is your thing...you might want to get two.Consider yourself warned.

I tend to shop more locally when I buy honey products but this one had such high reviews so I wanted to give it a try. The last time I ordered honey from this website (a different brand) the packaging was broken. This time everything stayed intact. The plastic case seemed sturdy enough, thought it was sticky around the rim. Not sure if that was honey or adhesive from the taped seal. Either way, the comb itself was intact. Definitely did not fill the box like I have seen other reviews show. But it was not broken. The syrup at the bottom of the box seems like corn syrup. It might be honey but it is very sugary without being very flavorful, if that makes sense. It's also very clear with no color to it.The comb itself is nice. The thinner parts are quite tender and practically melt in your mouth. The thicker middle is almost creamy in consistency. Very nice but not much "chew" to it. The honey inside the comb is decent. Again, not very flavorful. More just sugary and sweet without any floral component. I did not detect any smoky flavor as other reviews have mentioned.I put some on toast and also ate some by itself. It's nice enough that I will use all of it but I probably won't repurchase because I have gotten tastier honey elsewhere and I am wary that they are using corn syrup as filler. It doesn't state that anywhere in the description but if it is not corn syrup then it is very tasteless honey.

I’ve never had honeycomb before but I am a huge fan of honey. After reading a ton of reviews I settled on this one. It was perfect in every way and just as I imagined, the packing had zero leakage, the honeycomb was beautiful and intact- full of honey. It was very sweet and would be perfect in tea or on toast! A lot of reviews on most every product people were complaining about the waxy substance, for this product I did have little balls of wax left over from a mouthful so I tried to keep it off my teeth while enjoying it. The wax stuck to my teeth but easily peeled off, I can see how it might annoy some but what can one expect ¿ 10/10 amazing product, so glad this is the first one I’ve tried!!!!

I was hesitant to buy thisproduct on the packaging alone, but still bought it anyways since it was the cheaper honeycombs out of all the good ones. It did not come damaged to me. In my opinion the plastic box that the honeycomb is contained in is actually good, sturdy quality. It’s very thick plastic on the bottoms and corners, so if anyone recieved a damaged box then it was amazon’s fault, not the honeycomb company. There is also a really strong adhesive on the tape they use to secure the cap and the label acts as security for keeping the cap closed as well. The honeycomb is super good. I let my everyone in my asian family try a small piece and they all agreed that it was tasty. I would buy this again.

The taste of this is definitely sweet. Maybe even a little overly sweet, so if you have a sensitivity to overly sweet items, this may not be for you. On the other hand, if you do like that kind of thing, this may be perfect for you. I'm in between the two extremes, and I eat one small scoop of this with a spoon each day, and that's just right for my sweet tolerance level. It looks pretty authentic - you can definitely see outlines of the honeycomb within the honey. The comments about the packaging are accurate though, so fair warning. I didn't have any issues with cracked or damaged packaging, as far as I could tell, yet the entire outside of the package still arrived sticky and remains sticky even after trying my best to clean off the sticky. There was also a good amount of sticky honey on the inner walls of the box that it was shipped in. Fortunately nothing other than the honey was packaged in the box. They definitely need to work on their honey packaging, as well as their shipping packaging and padding. I almost gave a 3 due to that, but because I do like the honeycomb I gave it a 4.
