I use these “driveway monitors” on three properties. At my home, I used them outside and inside the gate to alert me to visitors, but I also use them in a mountain location to be alerted to wildlife. And at my office.I’ve tried about every decent product out there over the past five or 10 years. Definitely the solar products seem to work really well and eliminate the transmitters from just randomly stopping working and you having to figure that out and then go change batteries.However, this emacros product has become my absolute favorite. Because of the Wi-Fi integration of the receiver, and solar powered transmitters. Wi-Fi integration is a great touch. Where you can control the receiver, ringtones, etc. from your phone. You can also get alerts to your phone, which is nice for me when I am away from the mountain property. All the other solar products I have used are audible only notifications from the receiver itself. That basically won’t work at all if you’re away from the receiver, or if you would like to turn the receiver tone off to not bother other people in your household.That Wi-Fi integration was a no-brainer to me, because the receiver is typically installed inside a house. But I still have not seen any other manufacturers do that yet.Some other nice things about this product is that they come pre-programmed. Transmitter to receiver. So they work out of the box. Some of the others you have to jump through some fairly poor programming that is not really user-friendly.And lastly, I did have some issues with one of my receivers after I ordered them. I gave the manufacturer a chance and reached out to them first. It took a minute, but they responded and shipped me a new product immediately. I very much appreciate that level of service.At the moment, I think these are the best on the market. And a very fair price.Cheers, Matt

Works Great Not overly complicated and does the job with few false alarms. Even indirect sunlight keeps the sensor charged up. I wish the directions were more detailed. I watched a couple YouTube videos to learn about it. A helpful thing to know is that when the “3” lights up on the receiver, it’s telling you the powers on. Also, once the sensor is paired, it stays paired after cycling power on the sensor or receiver.

It’s also weatherproof, so I don’t worry about it during storms or extreme weather conditions.The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that there can occasionally be a slight delay in notifications, but overall, this is a great product for enhancing security around your property. I highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable outdoor alarm system.

Works great!! Love this, we have a long driveway and this alerts us to visitors…My App stopped working and I reached out for help and their support team was fabulous.Very helpful, informative and my App is back working!!

The alarm works as described and does a good job of not detecting birds and chickens. When the alarm goes off, the receiver in the house announces (LOUDLY) what zone has been breached. If your phone is connected via the internet, it also alerts you. BUT ... at least once every single day, the home component alerts to a breach that is a false alarm. I know it's a false alarm because I don't get an alert on my phone. When something is actually in the driveway, the home component announces it AND the phone alert comes through.EDIT: Stopped working after four months. No help from e-mail or phone support. Now it's a paperweight.

The Hosmart phone app works great. However, the Emacros sensor and receiver are unpredictable and works 50% of the time. I had the sensor about 200 yards from the house (line of sight) where receiver is and it only sensed about half the vehicles that would come up the drive. When it did work, the Hosmart phone app worked as well. However, the receiver would also sound off consistently between midnight and 2 AM (irritating) and there would be nothing on the driveway where the sensor was positioned. The idea is good, but it only works in theory. I would stay away from this foreign product.

Love this product.Had some problems connecting the base to wifi. Texted the service number and I received a call to help me work through the issue. It turns out the base unit was bad. I was shipped a new base unit and received it within two days. Connected immediately.This works as described, I no longer need to guess when someone is in my driveway.

Easy to set up and works like a charm.
