The floss holder fits very well for my needs. I will be able to use it again and again. It is very sturdy. I taped the codes onto the holder next to the floss to make it easier for me to find the thread I need. I am happy with my choice.

For many years I have been using rectangles of cardboard and a hole punch to make floss organizers for cross stitch. What a pain! These colorful plastic organizers are so much less work and so much more fun to use. I just used a Sharpie marker to number each hole in the organizer, and put the corresponding numbers beside the color symbols on my cross stitch chart. Works like a dream!

As an avid cross stitcher, I wanted an easy and portable way to organize the floss I was using for my projects. Since I tend to do very complex projects with many colors (and color combinations) I was delighted to find these. In the past I have made my own floss organizers from various things that I have stumbled upon, but this is just about perfect. I create my own stickers utilizing white duct tape cut to size and a fine point 'Sharpie' marker showing the symbol and the color of floss(es) being used for that symbol. Best of all, I can link them all together with a cable tie utilizing the loop at the top of the plastic card. This is a great find, I recommend it highly.
