Acura Genuine 83280-STK-A01ZB Sunvisor Assembly

This was a simple and easy fix for the broken, saggy driver’s side sun shade in my sister-in-law’s 2012 Acura RDX. It was not cheap, but was priced much less than what our local dealer quoted. What came was exactly as described, a factory sealed OEM Honda (gray) replacement part, from an authorized (online) Acura Dealer. The fit, finish and color were a perfect match for the removed visor. 15 minutes with a flat or Phillips-head screwdriver was all it took. It’s worth noting that there is an easy to unplug electrical connector attached to a fitting molded into the visor pivot point. Take note of how that comes out of the headliner so that you can tuck it all back into the same space when installing the new visor (don’t forget to plug it back in). And, as an earlier reviewer noted, a single extra screw is provided in case you lose one of the original two. You’ll likely not have to use it. There’s also a trim piece covering the bracket mount. Some care here is warranted, but it is easy to remove and reinstall with the new visor to keep the screws covered.

I needed a replacement sun visor for my 2015 Acura RDX. That is exactly what I entered in the search window AND the product detail confirmed that it was for a 2015 RDX. I took it to my mechanic for installation. Not even CLOSE to the correct size. WAY too long. They would not process a return for the product either. So I am just out money.This is the first time I have ever written a review in my life but do not want anyone else to have this terrible experience.

Finally got my sunvisor exactly the same my original. Good quality, easy to install but need keep one T25 screw from your old unit to install on the new unit. DIY save money. No more falling down sunvisor good look, same color from original.

The light works. It fit perfectly and was easy to instal. The grey color matches the interior of my 2008 RDX. Only came with 1 screw replacementbut you need two for the install so save the ones you have. Also doesn't come with a replacement cover for the screws so be careful not to bend it too much when popping it off when removing the old visor.

So after spending close to $200, the item came in a plastic shipping package. Its not well packaged. Also, for the price, only came with one bolt to install. Don’t understand the logic for that. It’s expensive but with one bolt?

I like the that the part was the correct part for the 2008 Acura RDX, after reading online of other sources sending a sun visor that doesn't fit. I also liked that it was easy to install. I didn't like Acura designing a sun visor that is more complicated than it needs to be , using an internal part that eventually fails and requires a new expensive replacement. The original simple design worked and could have been left alone. I really didn't like the price that had to be paid for a replacement sun visor, which was still less than what the Acura dealer quoted me.
