Blocks Blinding Sunshine
The morning sun during my commute to work was blinding me and it was dangerous. I drive a Corolla and my car sun visor is just too small to block the rising sun. The majority of the sun I'm blocking is on my left side while driving.Installation: The installation of this visor took a little while to figure out because the velcro is sewn on in a strange way but once I figured it out it went on ok. It's not a tight fit and this visor moves slightly from side to side on my regular car visor.Using The Visor: The visor is thick so the regular car visor will not go up completely against the roof. I need to block the sun on my left side while driving in the morning and when I reach my destination, it's difficult to lock the car visor back into the notch on the car ceiling because this visor extension is so thick. If your car sun visor hangs down normally if it's not locked in place, then your visor will hang down even more.Blocking the sun: This visor does a great job at blocking 95% of the sun. The polarized visor is very dark. There is a "square" shaped gap that the polarized visor and the side pull out visor creates where the sun can still shine through. This happens to me a couple of time during my commute so I just lean forward in my seat to get the sun behind the polarized visor. The smaller side visor: This smaller visor that pulls out is difficult to use. It doesn't slide out easily if it's pushed in all the way into the slot. it came from the manufacturer with it pushed in all the way. I struggled to get it out. I have to leave it partially out of the slot because there's no way I can pull it out while driving - it's a very tight fit if pushed in all the way.The Polarized Visor: It doesn't push in all the way into the slot when you don't need it. In the afternoon, my regular car visor is adequate to block any sun; however, because the polarized visor doesn't slide up completely into the slot, it is always hanging down when I lower my regular car visor. That's a little annoying. Also, because the polarized visor is so dark, it's difficult to see through while driving through shaded areas. For example, I have to turn left at a corner during my commute, and that corner is shaded by trees so when I make the turn, I have a difficult time seeing where I'm going. I have to quickly push the polarized visor into the slot then lower it again once I get past the shady part in the road.Visor Mirror: If you have a mirror on your regular car visor, this visor extension will cover it up. There's no way to access your visor mirror unless you completely remove this visor extension.Overall I would recommend this visor. If you drive in a lot of blinding sun, then it's a life saver. I'm glad I have it now. I know my review makes it sound like a bad purchase but it's actually a good product. You'll have to play around with it to see what works for you. I just wanted to point out the things I noticed that makes it annoying so you could make an informed decision.

Works ok.
The lens works great to block the sun, especially this time of year when it gets low in the sky while I am driving home. It normally kills my eyes. The construction is a bit light but the straps are double sided velcro which is helpful. The complaint I have is that when you mount it on your visor, it will block your mirror. As a female, I do use that mirror... maybe men do not. It should mount to the OPPOSITE side of the visor which would allow us to still use the mirror. It would still work just fine.I can't install it that way because then the side slider would open toward the door.Flip the design and it would be 5 stars.

Very difficult to install and fit and already falling apart a year later
This looked like a neat, easy to install deal. Not! This is marketed as one size fits all. Ha! You think a Honda Fit uses the same size viser as a Ram Truck? The instructions were not particularly clear and the sizing of the straps is terrible -- I could nearly wrap the straps around the viser twice (Honda Fit), and it won't stay in place regardless of how tight I get it. Bought this in Feb 2024 - the visor extension is already peeling off.

Good product for the price
It fits on my visor in the Lexus RC350. The length of the velcro straps supplied are long enough for the visor of my car. It is too short for my Ford Explorer visor which is bigger. I just use extra velcro to extend it. The pull-down len is polarized (a tester included and it does reduce glare when I use it). It comes with 2 plastic protecting sheets, one on each side to protect it, so there is no scratch at all. It is easy to pull down and push up with one hand when driving. It went almost straight up and almost straight down easily. Yes "almost", so don't expect smooth perfect operation, after all, it's a ~$20 product. The pull out extender did it's magic blocking the sun on the side window. It does not fall out when I pull it out to block the sun. Did that multiple times and it did not fall out. Working perfectly for me.

JUNK, JUNK, JUNK
I had only had this about 3 weeks when I noticed that the polarized backing was bubbling and curling and peeling off the plastic sheet. That is the only thing that is keeping the glare and sun out of my eyes. The longer it is on my visor the more it is curling and peeling off. By the time summer is in full swing I'm sure it will have come completely off. I have already gone past the return period so I guess I'm stuck with a piece of junk that I should not have bought. I read the reviews and "thought it can't be that bad" I was wrong, it IS that bad, DO NOT BUY THIS VISOR!!!UPDATED: The polarized backing has now completely fallen off of the visor, I kept trying to pull it back in place and hoping it would stick when the weather got hot enough, it just got worse. Piece of JUNK.

Saves your eyeballs from the solar simulator
They've got the Sun simulator jacked up to the point of it being blinding in the Early mornings in traffic and in the afternoons especially bad you have to have a way to protect your eyes it seems like sunglasses don't get it this visor is a must I have well each of my visors in the car one for the passenger one for myself and it helps to prevent the Sun from blinding me where you become dangerous as a driver you can't see what you're doing it cleans easily and I love the part that pulls out that solid to help block the sun it's exactly what you need when you're driving so that you can see other motorists and not have Sun blindness which is so dangerous it's a must and I would recommend for each visor in your car would bye again and I bought two already I reviewed many other visors before I bought this one and I have no regrets I think it's superior to the others get it you'll need it!!! You'll also be glad you got it it gets my vote
