2006 V8 Mustang
Used to replace an FS-10 AC compressor in a V8 Ford Mustang that had developed a pulley chirp that progressively got worse over time. The unit I received was marked "Made in Korea", Not China as shown in the stock pictures.Installed myself since I'm a mechanic with access to a professional A/C machine at my workshop. No issues with pulley/belt alignment or leaking. Came preloaded with 6 ounces of PAG oil according to the sticker attached it.. I lost about an ounce of oil that was already in the a/c system when recovering the freon with an A/C machine. So I ended up turning it upside down and rotating the pulley by hand to dump out 2-3 ounces of oil that was already in the compressor. The compressor already contained new O-rings needed for installation. The only issue encountered was the location of the electronic plug, for the magnetic coil used for the A/C clutch. The old motorcraft part had it oriented at the 6'o clock position, whereas this part had it rotated at the 10'oclock position. This can be remedied by removing the pulley and rotating the coil. I didn't need to do that however. It still worked for this application since the wiring loom for the car offered just enough slack to properly get the plug into the new location. It works well, A/C blows cold, and the A/C pulley no longer makes noise

Quiet running compressor
I installed this compressor on a 2006 Mustang GT along with a new accumulator and orfice tube to replace the original one that had formed a leak at the seal on the shaft. It was a perfect fit with the exception of the electrical connector being in a different location but I was still able to connect the harness to it without any modifications. The compressor runs very quiet but how well it holds up is yet to be seen as I just recently installed it.

Compressor Did Not Engage
I Installed This Compressor On My 2002 Grand Marquis And It Did Not Work. I Checked Voltage At Connector Going To Compressor And Had 14v. The Clutch Did Not Engage.

So far so good
It’s was a straight forward install, running like a camp. Nothing worse than working all day fixing other people’s HVAC problems then climbing into a hot truck. Cooling well!

Works great
I installed this in my girlfriend's 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis. A bit of a pain in the butt to install, but I blame that on the engineers at Mercury not this product. The AC is cold again. Which is very important in the Arizona summers.

Blissful
Looks and sounds great, OH and by the way it works, lol. I have been dealing with a hot car for over 2 months and what felt worse was the rattling the old compressor was doing, it sounded like a bunch of coins in a mason jar. At least i could roll down the windows when it got to hot but there was nothing to stop that noise! Now, i start my car and she purrrrrrrrrrrs again. I pop the hood just to look at the compressor, just spinning away, no noise, just peaceful compressing...(or what ever it does). Thank you nameless amazon company that sold me this. The silence was worth the price alone!

Great Replacement for OEM.
OEM compressor seized up internally, but I didn't want to spend $400-500 on a new OEM one. Came across this compressor for a far more reasonable price and decided to give it a chance. Direct replacement on Ford 3V engines with no fitment issues at all. Runs great.
