Greatest purchase ever. I started with an empty vacuum canister, it was shocking at how much material I pulled out of my dryer. I unplugged the dryer and detached the exhaust duct and used the vent cleaner for that and came in from the back of the dryer.I appreciate an earlier review that recommended measuring the lint opening because mine is 3/4".The vent cleaning hose is sturdy and attached to my vacuum hose with no problems. Highly recommend this product, so worth the time to properly clean my dryer and vent hose.

Impressed with the abilities of this dryer vent cleaner. The hose is flexible and long enough to clean out your dryer vent. It is even thin enough to reach the bottom. Definitely glad I made this purchase. I also appreciate it is small enough to easily store when I am not using it.

I was surprised at just how well this cleaned my dryer vent. It was easy to use and hooked to my very old Electrolux vacuum. It was fairly easy to maneuver around in the dryer vent space and you can hear it picking up lint. It was inexpensive and did what I needed.

Mixed results. I wanted to use this to clean the dryer vent pathway on my LG TROMM electric dryer. When the dryer's filter screen is removed, the cavity is much too small for my household vacuum, and none of the attachments I have are long enough to reach down to the bottom of the vent below the filter. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my hopes, though it is good at the basics.PRO: MUCH better than my household vacuum attachments. This is just the right size to clean the area below where the removable filter screen sits. I am constantly getting lint buildup in there. This tool does an excellent job of cleaning that part of the airpath. Another pro: the build quality is good for the price, except for the wire handle. The rubber adapter is very sturdy, and the small diameter hose part is also of good quality.CON: The next stage is the problem. The dryer's vent makes a 90 degree turn towards the back, and I want to be able to clean in there. I hoped that this flexible tube and bendable wire control rod would let me make that turn. Unfortunately, this tool's wire handle is flimsy and very difficult to control. I cannot get it to make the turn from the front area where the removable filter is into the next stage of the vent path that I cannot see into, and where I suspect I may have additional lint buildup that is causing dryer issues.Summary: It does part of the job very well, and part of the job not at all. If you just need to be able to reach down a little further than your regular vacuum tools permit, this may be just the thing. If you're hoping to be able to reach further than that, I don't think this too will help.

this was a great set. It included an adapter for my vacuum which actually fit on my dust buster type vac as the opening is flexible and my dustbuster has an oblong end. It was easier to use than my upright vac but I'm sure it would work with that too. I think my dustbuster is a little weaker so maybe that is why some lint got stuck, but it was not hard to get it out and I can not believe how much I got out.I did not find the metal thing helpful. The tube itself is flexible but firm enough that I think using that metal would have been worse. I did like the brush that was included. I first just used the tube and got a lot and then I used the brush and it loosened up a bunch more and then I was able to vacuum that too.I also was able to put the flexible tube under my washer and dryer. I can't believe this thing was so great. I had gotten one previously which was too wide to fit where it needed to go. This one is like a half inch wide maybe a tiny bit more and it fit down easily into the opening with room to move it around. I think it was about the right length too. If I pulled out my dryer I could prob clean it more from the other side. I may do that at some point. Anyway this thing is great. I think I only paid like $7-8 for it and it was worth that and more. It also does not take a lot of room to store. I can hang it in my laundry room closet so it's handy for when I need to use it again.

Wow! This really works. First, I measured the opening of the my lint trap. Mine is 1”. A lot of the hoses were too large to fit in my lint trap so continued looking on Amazon and found that this set had the right one. The metal attachment for the hose was very helpful and the attachment for my vacuum was great too. Had to work a little harder to get the hose in the deepest part of the trap but it worked. I could not believe how much lint was deep in the trap. So glad I found this.

The attachment works well with my vacuum.

Difficult to get on the end of a shop vac, but once on works pretty good.
