I ordered this to make my wood lathe pieces setup faster. This is a quality tool! I made a flat smooth cut so I could place the work piece in my Nova G3 chuck. Worked like a charm. I cut the bowl with the Crown 3/8 spindle gouge I just ordered from Amazon. Awfully good price, too. As good as any of my Forstern bits.

I like because is very sharp .... I use to drill holes in room corners when I m running electrical wires were is no possible use other tool .... normally the only way was to use a wood chisel ,that way is time consuming . Is a must for electrician s ....I m sure is more uses for this great tool .

Used this to bore about 30 holes, each about 1 1/2" deep into pine. The bit was struggling with the last few as it had gotten pretty dull, but for the price, it plowed through a lot of material! For typical cabinetry it would probably do about 100 hinges.

Had to drill a large, deep holes in difficult end grain. My existing bits did not work to my satisfaction. So I ordered an 1-3/8 Forstner bit. It arrived sooner than expected, in perfect condition and cut all the difficult holes swiftly, producing clean and accurate holes. I am very pleased with the product.

I had previously purchased a different brand of frostner bit for a different size. When using it, i found it did not cut clean. This bit was a few dollars more, and I am pleased I paid the extra cost. It is sharp and cuts clean.

This is a horrible product. Bought it for a project my daughter was working on. We had to drill 3 holes 1/2” deep in wood. This bit wasn’t sharp enough to drill the first hole had to send it back for a refund. I wouldn’t have given it one star but you can’t give 0 with this rating system.

Needed this bit for a repair project and did the job very well. I only needed it for one use so I can not review a long term durability.

I do a lot of wood work as hubby, i have no idea why i did not think about this before, i used to use 1.5 inch drill and carve the rest off, this item has saved a lot of time for me and it cuts through hard wood or any wood and resin like a hot knife through butter, i am going to order few more in different sizes.
