GREAT battery!!! but long life takes a few charge loops to show
Once my phone would reboot when I take a picture? I knew it was time to act. So I ordered this battery. The day it got here? My phone was at 73% charge, but the old battery couldnt put out the amps necessary to finish Turning On.This battery's "fit" inside the phone is a little bit tighter. Nothing to worry about, doesnt affect how it fits in a phone case. In fact, I like the way it holds the battery connections in place a tiny but more firmly. Just slightly noticeable when inserting, doesnt seem to harm anything. This battery's first charge is Much faster than any other Ive found! But Its life is shorter than I expected. (Edit: That was just the first charge)On the second charge? I ran the flashlight, LOUD, grqphics-intensive games, a bluetooth headset call, streaming video and a battery-hungry vpn, on wifi - all simultaneously. It strangely lasted longer than the first charge where I did none of these things.I've had freshly Amazon-purchased batteries fall into the battery-bootloop when I do this kind of stress test! Even "mint-in-box" OEM batteries are old/stale enough to have this problem. Not this battery. And the next recharge was still quick, but not near-instant like the first charge. All in all? A nice little battery. Not really much better runtime over any other battery, but it doesnt slow you down when you need the phone to do some intensive multitasking.Maybe I just need to break it in more. (Edit: i did Its nice, but nothing groundbreaking.)Still well worth the money.

Still fresh from purchase, but uptime is great so far......will update later
I am only in the initial power cycles, but already working way better than my original battery has been.Let's face it........with only one version behind in Google OS and having the easily replaceable battery, the LG G5 is a phone worth doing a little work on.This, so far, is a really solid battery. Responded well to my charger and completely charged (from the 46% the batter came with) in about 20 minutes. The total battery capacity boasts a bit larger than standard OEM, but the fit is tight and a good look-a-like.Will update soon, after giving the battery a good run for the money.....esp considering this great price!I should mention........the power button, cameras, screen and ear speaker are all modular.......no real need for messy phone/tablet tape......and quite affordable. Very easy to full rebuild this phone.....and mine took a complete submersion.

Lasts longer than original battery, but had to be altered for phone to stay closed.
This battery lasts longer than my original battery lasted; usually about 20-24 hours. I even bought a new original battery as a replacement, and it didn't last long either. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the battery is a tad too long for the LG G5. At random times, and especially when unplugging the phone from the charge cord, the phone would shut off because the back of the phone came slightly opened. That was frustrating, especially when my phone was supposed to be tracking my steps, and I didn't know until a lot of steps later that the phone had shut off!My husband took a small bit off the end of the battery (I don't know how. He's just amazing like that.) Now my phone doesn't randomly shut off. The battery lasts a lot longer than the other batteries I tried. It even functions when it's as low as 2-3%; something my other batteries never did.I am happy with the battery now, but I would have returned it if my husband hadn't fixed the random shut-off issue.

Works well
It charges slightly slower than my old, run-down battery. That is to be expected I guess, since the old one was less power (mAH) and had been exhausted. That said, the battery lasts longer once it's charged, to the point I actually went about a full day before I charged it. That's never happened on this phone before, even when it was new!

Another total DUD!
Replacing another replacement battery that I got 3 months out of, I chose this one because it had the “best” rating. What a DUD!You’re supposed to let this battery run completely down and recharge 3 full times (per item info on amazon, no info came with battery to tell you this). So I did that, which wasn’t hard because the battery discharged at an alarming rate while the phone did nothing. I truly mean nothing - twice over night sitting face down (so always-on display was not on) and once during the day where NO calls, texts, or web surfing even happened (ok when it was down to 24% having done nothing all day, I did go on the internet to run it down so I could charge before bed, but it got to 24% doing nothing all day). The 2 mornings of having phone face down all night, woke up to battery at 23% and 31%. That’s shameful!I’m truly wondering if these replacement batteries aren’t actually as old as the G5 phone, being made for those initial replacements when phones were still “new enough”? How or why else would replacement battery after replacement battery perform SO abysmally when purchased new??? I don’t know this, but as a reasonable thinking person I’m trying to figure out what’s behind me having to purchase THREE replacement batteries in the last 3 months, 2 of which get returned immediately and 1 which lasted the 3 months before beginning to lose charge too quickly. The only time the battery didn’t discharge at warp speed rates (again when phone was just idle) was when 1st put in and charged. I had forgotten the “Battery Saver” feature was turned on due to trying to conserve the battery that was being replaced. This battery with that feature discharged faster than should but not nearly as fast as when I realized and shut that feature off. I shouldn’t have to use Battery Saver Mode on a new battery. Once I shut it, this battery began its warp descent towards full discharge. So ANOTHER battery I’ll be returning as fast as I can figure the way to do so.

Charging sucks!
It was ok but it didn't stay charged as long as I thought it would. I played angry birds 2 for about 3 hours and it went from 100% down to about 20% in that time frame. Kind of disappointing.
