Ideal for keeping birds out.

I installed these on a ready tiled roof. This has meant I've had to adapt things slightly to stop the birds nesting. Essentially I've installed them with comb facing inside but then pulled the comb outward. Seems to be working but time will tell. Cheapest I've found them after a lot of searching. Much cheaper than Screwfix!

Apart from only needing 3 and had to buy 10 they did work. Stopped the starlings getting in my roof . So they did work.

As part of a strip down and refresh of our front white gutters, it became apparent that our existings eaves combs had some damage and upon closer inspection this sit between the top of the facia boards and the tiles on the roof of the house. Ours were either screwed or nailed from above and into the top edge of the facias. On a pair of ladders this can be a challenging and difficult process to oversee, i recall the process of having new facias done 15 year ago with scaffolding set up at the front of the house, that leaves both hands free, tooling and better safety,stability and perfect access to the whole run of facia. The job had to be done, so it was difficult with a few hacks included, but the finish is great and i was happy enough to get it done. Not for the faint hearted if you dont like DIY at the top of a ladder and need a third hand.

I have used these on a new garage roof with metal pantiles. They are very flexible and are easy to fit. They stop birds and mice getting between the membrane and the roof panels.

great product well made used for fitting onto upvc fascia to stop wildlife getting under the roof tiles because of the shape of tile fitted great will use again and great price for a pack of 20 very happy

Brilliant product

Steven, my Silkie Chicken, had crazy, uncontrollable hair. Bed hair was the worst... until, that is, I got him "Bird Comb". His hair has never looked so fancy. He's the envy of his mate, Jeremy, the Juniper Titmouse (which is an unfortunate surname - poor little Boobrodent).
