Signature HousewaresSorrento Collection Set of 4 Cereal Bowls, 7-Inch 16 Ounce, Aqua

I had been searching for "true" red (not orange red) bowls of this size for a while. They are 7" wide, 2" high and sturdy. Delivery was fast and packaging was excellent. I usually don't review so quickly after purchase, but I feel confident they will meet expectations. Thank you to previous reviewers.

Beautiful bowls by Signature Housewares...Trying to collect the set...Very durable and heavy!!

When I purchased my Sorrento's set, the bowls were the higher, rounded bowls. Those are great for chili, cereal, soup, even ice cream, but they don't work as well for things that need a lower profile bowl, like strawberry short cake, crumbles, crisps & cobblers, stew, dumplings, pot pies... things that benefit from having some sides to contain the juice or sauce, but don't need complete containment. So, decided needed to add these to the set. This was the current optimum way of buying them for me.They are a heavy stoneware, and a beautiful aqua color, so they work well with my Southwest Decor. This particular stoneware has a rougher, less than perfect finish, so expect flaws. It does give a "rustic" feel, but makes it a bit harder to clean. It chips more easily than some, so not as durable or sturdy as I expected. It also is heavier and thicker than many sets, so it requires more actual space to store than other sets. The company also "redefined" the set halfway through - changed the cup and bowl shapes, so I am having trouble getting additional pieces of what I already have, so, bit of a conundrum. I would advise getting all of the pieces of a size/kind you think you will want if you choose this pattern. the set does have wonderful serving pieces and pasta bowls (which I LOVE), something many sets don't have.These bowls round out my set, this pricing was a little high, but better than some other options. I would not start this set at these prices - way more than it cost at the beginning, but as a way to finish off my set, this works. Despite it's flaws, I do love these dishes.

Nice big heavy bowls that make my wife happy.We put them in the freezer and served a crisp garden salad.

Nice size, heavy, simple and pretty. But all 4 arrived damaged with severe rub marks on the edges and inside. Will be returning. :/

The bowls are heavy/thick. One bowl was broken and the color did not match the orginaloff white dishes I had

They are beautiful, correct weight very pleased

Second set, love these. Perfect size for so many things.
