For The Roller Skater Also!
I see everyone loading these fantastic bearings in their longboards but I have a bit more of a retro use! To start, let me say these bearings are fantastic! I used to roller skate a lot when I was in middle school and now that I'm in college I figured I'd pick the hobby back up. I bought a new pair of roller skates (Chicago Men's Rink Skate) and they fit perfectly but when I got on the rink, I knew they had cheaped out on the bearings. After talking to some old skating buddies, I ordered these bearings and I was blown away. I had created quite easily the smoothest riding roller skates ever! If you're looking to get into classic roller skating, I can suggest only these bearings. A good price, and excellent quality. Make sure if you're purchasing for roller skates, to get two packs (you'll need 16 bearings total).

Great product
Great product for the price.

For that smooth, quiet flow
I've tried many bearings and this is what I've found, most suck or are not designed for skating. The thing about RED's is the axle of the bearing protrudes generously past the bearing cases, so your less likely to get rubbing on your contact points of your frames and spacers.

They are super quick once broken in
When in doubt, always get Bones Reds. They won't let you down. A very trustworthy brand for bearings. They are super quick once broken in, which takes one or two days of skating. I have always recommended Bones to anyone looking to get into skating or just anyone who needs new bearings.

Above & Beyond
Not only did they send me a free sticker of their shop but also threw in a free pack of bearing spacers and speed washers.... that shows class and I'll DEFINITELY buy from them in the future...Stokedrideshop ROCKS

Decent bearings for the price, but over rated and not the best choice
Bones Reds have been the GOAT of budget skateboard bearings forever and a lot of good brands for a similar price have come out since then such as yellow jacket, old boys, etc. these bearings are kind of fast for a cheap bearing but don’t seem to hold up for high speed riding in my electric skateboard for a long time. They are already chattering a little bit after 60 miles.Get either zealous bearings or yellow jackets instead.

Definitely highly recommended for heavier skaters like me who skate for fitness
As a beginner i didn't know much about bearings. So after i burned through the stock wheels on my K2 Fit 80s, i decided to upgrade to Labeda Asphalt wheels and Bones Reds. Wasn't ready for the difference!! The combination of the wheels and bearings increased my speed so much I'm trying desperately to how learn to stop now!!! Definitely highly recomended for heavier fitness skaters like myself.

Very smooth
I bought these for my quad skates for outdoor, and went to a skate shop to install the new wheels. They are very smooth compared to the stock bearings that were on before. I'm definitely happy with the value given how expensive bearings can get, and these worked well.
