These are excellent for holding up a very heavy mirror for our 1/2 bath downstairs. These items were hard to find in hardware stores or art stores where we live!

I purchase this to hang a mirror. It holds very strong the mirror was about 17lbs I toughed on it after just to make sure and was very snug. The mirror I had was a standard full body mirror. The set comes with another set of hangers that will leave less room between mirror and wall, This one which is L shaped leaves a bit more room no bother but I just like a neat looking job. The packages also comes with anckors for extra support. you can either use both sets with all 4 sides of the mirror or just 1 set like me to hange mirror. If your mirror has a wood thick frame around it you will only need to use 1 set. if the frame is skinny then you can use all 4 to directly seat mirror in place. My installation was just screwing this into the wall and using the triangle hook found on back of most mirrors.note: tools needs are just a plain philips screw driver, and levelernote: for professional installation tools needed are a drill and drill bit (dont have size as i did not use this method), philips screw driver and a levelerthe leveler is so that the mirror does not look crooked. this is very cheap and a great add on item that works great.this is not just for mirrors you can use it for pictures as well or to hang coats or hats. it provides great support.

Hold a large, heavy mirror securely. Glad to find a product to handle the 1/2 inch thickness of our mirrors.

I bought one of those cheapie full length mirrors from a department store that starts with K. I'm renting, and I tend to listen to the rules like, no holes in the walls. The mirror's been leaning against my bedroom wall.I decided the heck with rules, years later, and decided to mount it; what a rebel I've become. Well, I bought one 'mirror mounting kit' and procrastinated, and when I decide to actually get started, the clips were too shallow -- measure yours if you're thinking about this -- and couldn't return it of course.'K. I'm serious now. I'm to the local hardware stores like one that starts with A, and others. Non are deep enough! I'm googling, and googling, and back to Amazon. Yep, this one is really 1/2" deep.They're fine, actually great. The anchors are ok for a lightish mirror, and the clips were the right size, actually a bit deep.The "except .." in the title was the misinformation in the listing. I bought 3 because I wanted 2 bottom, 1 top. I ended up with .. it's been months ago .. I think either 6 clip and anchor sets. So, buy accordingly.

Dissapointing. Not at all what I expected. These are NOT mirror hangers they are mirror CLIPS. You cannot hang a proper framed mirror with these, they are too flimsy and not designed well enough to grab the hook. They are NOTHING like the picture - the lip at the front is much lower and further away from the backplate. Do not order these if you intend to hang a large framed mirror. These are only suitable for the thing sheets of mirror glass that are intended to fit flat against a wall or cabinet.

The unit only comes with two of the clamps pictured, and two other ones that are a different shape. The stand off on these also only matches the first image and not the second. The product images are just lacking so be aware of that.
