LAQ DESiGN Perspective Waterproof Storage Bag, Dry Bag with Shoulder Strap for Kayaking, Beach Waterproof Bag, Secure Closure to Keep Your Valuables Dry

Unlike most of you, I was looking at this item to keep water IN the bag, so that my ice will not leak inside my lunch cooler on short trips. I don't like the mess that watery ice leaves all over my food packages, so I like a dry cooler space. I usually use double Ziploc bags (one inside the other, both zipped), but the melting ice always leaks. I thought I would give this a try and it works GREAT!I am sure that it also works to keep water OUT, but that was not my intent. It is well made, very pliable. The only issue is a slight difficulty in opening and securing the bag, but that is because I have bad arthritis in my hands. Once closed it is a great seal, though; even air did not seem to get out (I squeezed it to see if it was airtight).

The media could not be loaded. I frequently go kayaking and stand up paddleboarding (SUP) and this has been great so far! I typically only bring the essentials when I’m out on the water like my phone, wallet, car keys and I find this waterproof purse very spacious for what I need to bring. I wanted to find a bag that had a clasp close like the ones I see for phones. I read some other reviews about the bag being difficult to open but personally I didn’t have trouble with it at all. You can watch my example video on how easy it is to open.The bag keeps my items dry but if you’re worried about things getting wet then I suggest also putting important items (wallet, keys) in a ziploc bag for additional security while in the waterproof bag. If you’re even more worried about your phone, I also like using a waterproof transparent phone bag/case (The ones I see on amazon that have a lanyard attached) with my phone since I like bringing it out to take pictures. It’s basically double waterproof since I also put it in the bag when I’m not using it for an extended amount of time but personally I like wearing it around my neck for easy access pictures on the water. It may seem weird to use a waterproof case for your phone in a waterproof bag but its better than losing your $1000 phone to water damage. Plus the waterproof phone case/bags have lanyards attached in case it accidentally slips from your hands.I also suggest testing the bag before using it for a real trip. I tested mine by putting paper towels in it, then placing it in a bathtub l filled with water, throwing in the bag in, and submerging it a few times over the course of 30 min. It was all dry when I opened it. The bag also floats if there is enough air in it before you close it. Although I haven’t tested how much It floats with heavier items inside. I recommend just adjusting the strap to make it tighter on your body so it doesn’t somehow detach from you if you were to fall in the water.

The idea of the bag is good. I used it twice to put my wallet and phone in for the beach, and it tore the material away from the top. I can still use it, but it is no longer waterproof.

I love that I can fit my phone, my keys, and a charger with a cord in this cute bag. It’s great since you can wear it as a cross body. The only bad thing is that it’s hard to open if you have no strong finger nails. Really hard.

I live on a boat and was looking for a purse type dry bag. This seemed perfect. It is not. The clasp is quite difficult. And it should be reinforced on the opening because it is tearing quite badly. No longer a functioning dry bag. I really haven't owned it much more than a couple months.

Not only is this product super cute (& waterproof) but it's the perfect size for when you're out on the water. Not bulky, fits necessary items in, and was a great investment for me. I've had problems in the past with either products that weren't 100% waterproof, thus leakage, or other options where the container/bag takes up too much space. This bag is my go to for the beach, kayaking, boating, or even when I go on a hike!

I took this kayaking twice and it kept everything dry, plus it was quite roomy. The closing tabs are a little tricky and can't be done super quick, but once you get the hang of it it's no problem. I love the color too!

I have used other waterproof bags before but what attracted me to this bag was the cuteness. Cute isn't always functional. After one use at a water park, the bag has already broken. The plastic closure feature can also be difficult to align with the slots for closure. Ironically, the bag did keep my contents dry but I found it difficult to constantly maneuver the closure. The other bags I used previously, had a fold over closure. This bag might work better with a more pliable plastic closure.
