This paper is a very good paper, it feels like sand paper and is durable. It holds the pastel extremely well, and allows for multiple layers. The colors are beautiful and there are many to choose from.The soft pastels colors came out vibrant and they layered very nicely.Also, it is a good paper for oil pastels as well.I used this paper with a variety of soft pastels , oil pastels and some pastel pencils to create several landscapes.I recommend this paper and will buy more of it.

Colorfix is my favorite pastel paper. The colors in the warm pack are lovely. With its rough surface you can put many layers on. The rough surface will be hard on your fingers, so you might want to have some blending tools at hand. I have often used q-tips, chamois and kneaded erasers to do the blending.

Great quality paper and assortment of colors. The texture holds my pastel colors very nicely and isn't lifting like some cheaper papers. Very pleased and will recommend.

This paper is not a sanded pastel paper but more of a textured surface that takes a bit to get used to. It says it has a velvety texture but I didn’t find that either. It has possibilities. I just haven’t found the right combo.

Good for soft pastels (better for chalk instead of oil type) holds the pigment and blending together nicely.

I have purchased the cool colors previously and was very pleased with the way these papers hold onto the pastels. These will be a welcome addition.

It’s my first sanded art paper. I ordered fine but received original. I have been using this with panpastels and soft pastel sticks.Three stars because they didn’t ship what I ordered and to leave room for other brands/coatings.Works well but I need more time and experience before I give a final verdict.

Excellent product for pastel work. Worth the money. Love love love.
