Great battery! Not so great screwdriver.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see this battery test at over 900mAh, since it's only rated for 800mAh!This is a standard AA size (e.g., 14500) rechargeable Lithium Ion battery with solder strips attached to each end. It should fit any application requiring this particular size of battery. Note the instruction sheet that came along - it's a warning that the strips may break (from metal fatigue) if you bend them too many times, so be careful with them. In my experience handling this battery, the strips, though they are thin, didn't feel too brittle. Installation was quick and easy (and successful) in my Norelco shaver. Now the screwdriver, on the other hand... Take a close look at the photo - the shaft is quite misaligned with the handle. It's usable, but it makes for some uncomfortable turning during use.I definitely recommend this battery for your consideration!

So far so good!
At first battery didn't seem to hold a charge. After the first three or four charging attempts I gave up and was thinking the battery was junk. It would take a surface charge and run the Norelco series 3000 shaver for a few minutes before going dead. After leaving the shaver sit for a couple weeks I charged it again. Wonder of wonders it took a full charge and will run the shaver for hours now. I'm guessing the problem was in the charge sensing circuit built-in to the shaver. This battery gets 5 stars. I am very happy with the performance.

Very good first impressions.
Came fully charged which made the troubleshoot go much quicker after installation. Poles are clearly labeled. Came with a little note to help guide inexperienced users. Overall, very solid first impression.A tip for installation and troubleshooting- make sure that you check the poles of your old battery before removal and install this in the same direction. I read some of the reviews about people frying their boards after installing this battery and was curious what would happen if I swapped poles. I found that my shaver would still run in the correct direction with the poles reversed. Depending on your board configuration, your shaver may also work work the battery installed backwards, but you will most likely fry the board during use or trying to recharge.

Fits Norelco S6880
I sure hate it that Japanese manufacturers have stopped making these cells. This fit my shaver, but even though it was rated higher in capacity, is not lasting as long as the original. Might improvewith a couple more chargings.

Poor fitment for Norelco shaver; arrived fully discharghed NOT RECOMMENDED
Surely there are better alternatives. This battery arrived in a fully discharged state, which is bad because it is bad for Lithium ion batteries to be fully discharged. But the more significant problem is that it does not fit like the original battery, due to the very different shape of the pins. Notice that in EVERY picture of this battery, the shape of the pins is not visible. Not only are the pins covered with shrink wrap, but in every picture the battery is rotated to insure that you cannot see the pins, and there are NO pictures that show the ends of the battery. This was INTENTIONAL, because if the pictures gave you a clear view of the pins, and you compared it with what you see in your Norelco shaver, you would not buy the battery. I have the same type of Norelco shaver that most everyone else has, who is buying this battery or considering it. Look closely at the pins on the battery in your shaver and you'll likely see that the pins are straight and skinny all the way from the tip to where they join to the battery. In the Norelco shaver, the tray accommodates this shape for the pins, and to either side of the pin, at both ends, the end of the tray fits tightly against the ends of the battery, everywhere except for the gap that is just barely wide enough to accommodate the original battery with the skinny pins. But with this replacement battery, the pins are much, much wider, and there just isn't anyway to get the battery to go properly down into the tray the way it belongs except taking an xacto knive and making that gap much wider to accommodate the wider pin. This was a pain in the you-know-what, and a certain percentage of people who attempt to do this are no. doubt going to jam the xacto knife into their fingers. I'm more skillful than most people with such things, so I went ahead and made the necessary modification. It was not a show-stopper for me, but I know that this is not acceptable for the typical DIYer who. expects that the batter will simply drop into the tray and all they have to do is apply some solder. It bothers me that the seller has taken care to conceal this. The truth is that this battery is most likely not compatible with the majority of shavers they list, unless you define "compatible" as "will work if you use a sharp knife to cut away part of the tray that holds the battery in your shaver". Surely there are better options. Surely.

Perfect fit
Perfect fit for a Philips AT815 Aquatec Shaver. 15 minutes after the package was dropped on the porch the battery was soldered in, the shaver was re-assembled and on the charger. The T-8 Torx driver was a great help as T-10 Torx is the smallest I have, and the slotted head on the screws is difficult to use a flat blade screwdriver on.

Brought back my 15 year old shaver
I have a Philips Norelco 7310XL that died after 15 years. I took it apart expecting it to have two NiMh AA batteries in series like my other Norelco 8883XL but I found a single 14500 battery inside. I did a search and found several types of batteries that claim to be compatible with the 7310XL but this battery was the correct type since my old one had 14500 printed on the side (similar size but different operating voltage 3.7v vs 1.2v)Installation is fairly easy but does require basic soldering. This kit even includes the T8 torx screwdriver needed to take the unit apart.I don't know the longevity of the battery but it's working again. If it lasts me a couple of years I can just replace it again since its fairly easy. Saves me from having to buy a new shaver for 70+ dollars.

Correct size and fit
I liked that the battery fit perfectly in my application. My electric razor now works great. Simple soldier in connections and a quick charge was all that was needed.
