Comfortable
I bought these because of a leg length discrepancy due to a knee replacement. Since I'm only using one for my left foot, it seems like they're going to work for me. I just wish you could buy two left or two right ones for people like me. I have no use for the right one. But it's still a five-star product. I just got them today and used them for a short walk. Hopefully, it helps my back some.

Good or Bad depending on the type of shoe
I own both a pair of Vans and a pair of high top Converse. On the Vans, these are AWFUL. They push my feet onto the top of the Vans and there's no space at all. You can see my feet bulging out of the shoe. But on the Converse, they're AMAZING. It's arguably more comfortable WITH these insoles. They also work great on my Timberlands too.So these will work differently depending on the type of shoes you're gonna use them for.

High heel backing needed
Just make sure your shoes have a high heel backing, otherwise it makes you look off balance when walking. Otherwise they work great.

Comfortable and easy to trim
These are incredibly comfortable. I got a pair to slide into some boots I ordered that were too large for me, and have since bought another pair that I trimmed down to fit my chucks. I have a hard time wearing flat shoes, and these have been a life saver. They are easy to trim to any size shoe, and hold up well. I have a pair in a size 10 women's boot, and another trimmed pair in a size 9 Vans high top.Very tempted to get another pair to fit my 8.5 Chucks.

They work but 1.4 height are not practical
The 1.4 inserts only fit in a few pairs of my shoes. I've noticed the angle of the foot makes it impossible to fit in some shoes due to the front end of the shoe being incredibly tight. Shoes with more flexibility such as fabric sneakers work ok but any leather shoes are very uncomfortable with inserts of this height.Overall they do work but be mindful of howuch further forward your foot is and how it's going to feel uncomfortable and even cause pain on the top of your foot.Besides that I'd probably go with .5 or maybe 1 inch height next time around. The inserts themselves are comfy and you feel a bounce when walking.

too big for most shoes
makes shoes crazy tight

Comfortable, but too thick for most shoes
These are comfortable under my foot. I use the right one for leg length discrepancy which helps alleviate back pain. Unfortunately, the thickness only works in my more roomy shoes, so only 2 pairs. Granted, I do have a slightly wide foot and adding inserts just makes them too tight. Since it’s too thick to use in all of my other shoes, I just cut the heel off of the lift and use that part in my shoes. It works great under the shoe’s existing footbed liner. I also cut the left lift too to use on the right in another shoe so it doesn’t go to waste. Given the thickness, I expected these may not fit most of my shoes, but overall I’m happy with these.
