Great product for kids who are interested in bugs!!

My son loves this butt catcher it was everything we expected it to be and then some magnifying glass is perfect for hunting bugs very easy to use The size of everything that came with it was the right size for The a boy his age.The quality was great

The first time my son received it as a gift ans upon opening it the cage came with a rip in it. Contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement and he now enjoys playing with his birthday gift.

Bought it for my baby nephew (he’s 5) because he was going camping. Let me tell you it’s a 10/10. He figured out how to use everything. He loved the little bugs that came in it and refused to take off the whistle and binoculars. The hat was a little big, but he is quite small. And I wish it came with walkie talkies, but I bought those separately and he had a great time.

My 6 yr old grandson loves this kit. It has a neat hand tool (scissor type handle) that has a clear cup on the end. He was able to scoop up an insect, view it, then either release it or put it in the screened container for more viewing.

For starters, it’s cheap. So don’t expect anything more than that lol.The cage- the door already broke. The piece that helps the door move has one of the things snap so there’s only 1 holdin the door on (it still works) but the door falls off sometimes which isn’t good if we wanted to go inside.The Binoculars - these will give you headache lol they aren’t focused no matter what you do. They make you see 2. Just go invest in kid binoculars at Walmart in the camping/hunting section. I already have some and they’re better so I’m not upset about it.The net- it gets caught on surfaces like wood aka houses and trees so if you’re going up high to catch a bug off the house or tree you have to be extra careful so a bug doesn’t fall on your head because you got stuck.The compass - you need to be perfectly aligned to get it to work …. That’s something my 5 year old can’t do (sit still) lolThe bug choppers workers well although flimsy but my son and I both caught moths and had fun.All in all it’s a decent purchase and we had fun. But I’m going to invest in a different bug catcher set. But I’m not going to return this because it was just $20
