What These Are Meant For
First, I just want to comment on someone else's review: They said they were unhappy with the way the rounds feed and jam during the cycle. That person does not know what they are doing and is in serious need of education. The "dumbie" rounds are meant to simulate a bad feed, jams, misfire, and any issue you could have with the firearm during use. "TRAINING" rounds. Slip some of these in with your live rounds at the shooting range so you can practice real life situations when your butt isn't on the line. They perform EXACTLY as they should! The rounds allow me to practice getting my weapon back into action which accelerates my performance. All things a competent shooter needs to be familiar with and comfortable doing without thought. The safety of my family and those that need to be protected are better for it.

dry fire
Just got the A-ZOOM 45 AUTO SNAP Caps today. Used my Hilljak 1911 Magazine Speed Loader and they both worked on my Springfield Armory .45acp mags. Have to manually rack the slide to cycle through the mag and there was no problems.

I use for teaching family.
I have purchased a variation of these for every firearm in my home.It makes for safe storage and weapon handling durring teaching.A big plus is the same color all over. Impossible to mistake for live ammunition.

Needed snap caps to test assembled/repaired components on firing and cycling a 1911
Snap caps prevent damage to firearm components especially 1911 handguns. When dry firing in repair or building hammer fired handguns. The snap cap absorbs energy from the firing pin and hammer strike. To prevent damage to firing pin its always a good rule to use snap caps or a fired shell casing but snap caps are the best choice especially for action cyclyng

Worked Well for My Husband (Ruger SR 1911 Commander)
My husband and I purchased these snap caps for him to use during a training session he participated in by Mike Seeklander. He prefers the metal cased snap caps due to that their weight is more similar to the weight of his training ammunition than those that are plastic and weighted. These snap caps did well, and he had no trouble with them becoming jammed or not wanting to eject. The color made them easy to find them he had to retrieve them from the ground during training as well. 10/10, would recommend this purchase.

Who decided to make these Copper metal looking?
Every time of these pops out of a stored gun it causes a gasp.Stupidest color choice ever -- copper. Metal copper. FMJ color. The whole snap cap is copper/brass color!These are not "orange" in the safety-vest-orange or fruit orange spectrum at all.Get different ones. They seem to fit and work okay though.. maybe if you want to use these as dummy rounds for failure training, they would hide nicely in your magazine.
