good for a bigger dog.
Better for a bigger dog. Didn't work for our 22-pound Yorkie Terrier. (no not fat, just the biggiest of the litter). He is a Major puller. It did slip to the side after being adjusted making it hard to control him. Bummed out because it looked good and this is our 5th one to try. It needs a clip n unclip in the back for easy on and off. It was really hard to keep adjusting it to get on and off. Too much of an issue for a dog that keeps moving. It was a good quality harness all in all just didn't work for our squirmer.O and liked the padding for under leg comport! That was a plus for this harness.

it works
100% recommend this . My dog is 100lbs and pulls like a truck used this and she stops as soon as it starts tightening up and its not chocking her. great tool for training

Does not come with leash!
I did not get a leash with my purchase, I reviewed all the descriptions and reviews, some say they got a leash and others didn't, I feel the product images are misleading so keep in mind you NEED to purchase a leash separately. Other than that the harness itself is great, it seems comfortable for my Great Dane and easier to put on than traditional harnesses.

Perfect Harness?
Our dog is a puller and escape artist. I've tried over 4 different styles of harness. This harness is fantastic! First time I put it on the dog, he calmed down and didn't pull. Highly recommend!

Didn’t control my strong and reactive dog well enough
I love the Halti face harness and have probably purchased 10 of them just for my wild and crazy GSD. She’s reactive to a lot of things, but most especially bikes - and the face harness helps a lot. However, she does not like it and is often throwing herself on the ground to rub at it. It also inhibits her panting causing her to get a it foamy at the mouth (nothing like lunging at a bike with a foamy mouth to get a biker to actually warn me next time he speeds by too close). The reason I have purchased so many is someone always puts it on wrong at some point, typically from behind her, and the chin strap ends up in her mouth and chewed through in two seconds. This is exactly what happened to me just last week when I took it off to give her a break from it while on a long walk. Hence, the purchase of this harness. The problem with this harness is when my girl is going to lunge, she often lunges hard. The harness pulls to the side and does not give me enough control. If it’s really unexpected (I’m always listening for bikes, no EarPods allowed for me), I sometimes end up falling. The harness is not terrible, and I think when I use two leashes it’s better and may work well for a less powerful/less reactive dog, but I now have an order in for a prong collar (don’t be judgy until you’ve put one on your arm and yanked it, it’s not cruel).I have spent well over a year trying to get her calmer, and she is doing much, much better most days. But if she actually got to a speeding biker, all of us could get very hurt. We’ll see how she does with a prong, but I also ordered two backup Halti face harnesses.

Not Effective
I tried the HALTI No Pull harness on my 80 pound 1 year old Golden Retriever. The harness fits well but has several design flaws. First flaw is the method of installation on my pup. Having to put it over his head and then each leg through the strap is not the best. It would be better with clips that fasten in the back. The second flaw is the leg padding. The video shows sliding the leg padding down under the arms for comfort. This may be comfortable on the dog but it must be repeated every 20 feet as the pads don’t stay put and slide out from under arms. Finally, the strap adjustment clip in the back won’t stay in place and loosens as we walk. As for no pull, this does nothing to stop my dog from pulling. Attached to the front or back it has no effect to stop his force. Overall, one star is appropriate and I’ll be returning for refund.

Best harness for my unruly 85pound puppers
I had this style for years without the front no pole leash option and I loved it until 5 years of wear it finally went. I finally found this product and let me tell you I have a new dog! She is the same weight of my 7 year old and for the first time she was able to walk her best friend. That front no pole loop was the trick to keep her under control and easy to walk. Would have loved a clip around the neck but she will get use to it being put on with time. The double clip leash I bought with it was a great add too

A must buy
What game changer! I have tried many different harnesses with my 1-year-old dog. She just likes to explore and this harness keeps her in lineI would recommend this product to anyone who's having a rough time controlling their dog. Walks are so much more pleasurable.
