WOW - It worked and was super easy to install. I did not have to purchase the entire shift cable. Saved me money! thank you!

Simple and ... it works!
Followed the instructions and ... it works! Seems a bit loose at first (in the hole) but, doesn't come out and 2 weeks later, still working! (whew) MUCH cheaper and easier than replacing the whole shift cable.

2004 GMC Sierra 2500hd
Arrived quickly and installed in about 5 minutes. Tried several universal fit bushing kits but couldn’t get them to work. These guys make vehicle specific bushings and they work!

Great and easy fix shift cable bushing
The media could not be loaded. This worked and it was quick. Street I got it jacked up and secured with Jack stands it took less than an hour, to include time to test drive. I would advise using a dental pick to clean out the crumbly old junk from the mfg.Saved me a good deal of money and glad this part was the same for either end of the cable because I initially thought it was in the console but it was underneath where it has come loose.2014 Cadillac ATS -the life time warranty is nice and I was glad to support a business fairly close to home. Amazon overnight was great as well. Lakeland to Clearwater area.

04 yukon works again. but will it last. bushing looked so different and smaller
pretty expensive for 2 bushings and insertion tool I didnt need at 29$ for a 1.20 in injection parts.Part was not the same size or shape... it was much smaller. I used the sideways insertion method and it was easy to push in... Yukon working again. Sad design in the first place... just think how easy it would be to leave a bunch of yukons stranded in a parking lot.

Perfect fit
This little piece saved me hundreds of dollars. The piece just fit right in and is very durable and did the job. It got me riding again and out of being stuck in reverse.

Caveat emptor
Garbage. Save yourself the trouble of finding out this doesn't fit properly and go to pull-a-part instead. I attempted to fit the included piece in by the instructions on both the video the manufacturer has on their website and the ones that were included. One piece would not fit into the cable hookup properly and one, with little manipulation, tore immediately. After nearly thirty minutes I can say this is $30 I wish I could have back. I'd like to add that I checked the website for an accurate kit BEFORE coming to Amazon, so this isn't a matter of mistakenly ordering because of Amazon's garage not working.

Use Black One for 2001 Chevy Tahoe
I watched the install video and decided mine was the green one (which was actually gray in my kit)....turns out I should have used the black one. I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. You must remove the old bushing first. Since mine was not rotted it was easy to pry it out with a small screw driver. Once I did that the black one installed very easily. I have followed the instructions and shifted the vehicle from park to Drive (1) moving the shifter from top to bottom over 100 times just to be sure.It feels a little spongy but it's probably because the bushing is soft plastic. Needless to say, it's still working flawlessly. If you want to save money buy this kit. My mechanic would charge $300+ for a new shifter cable install.Thank you for a great product. It not only works, the install is easy....it will save you money.A++
