Kept the watercolors for my project usable for several days. I was able to come back and make changes to my painting whenever I got an idea. Really nice layout for the mixing trays.

Palette is reasonably priced for the 42 wells it contains. It has 3 secure, locking tabs with a rubber seal. It's a really good size to take to class, as it doesn't take up a lot of space as some others, even when open. I plan to use the 6 largest wells to mix colors; that leaves me with 12 medium sized wells where I'll store a larger supply of the colors I use most, and that still leaves 24 additional wells to hold my other favorite colors. I've purchased a lot of watercolor palettes but this is now my favorite. Because it's such a good value and design, at this price I can purchase additional ones for each instructor, as each has their favorite manufacturer and various color preferences. So happy with this purchase.

This palette has some of the best designed wells I could find. Angled paint bins that can accommodate bigger brushes and multiple-sized mixing areas.Three latches are better than the single latches included on many of the other available palettes available.The longer and wider size when opened provides lots of mixing space compared to the Mr. Pen or smaller Mijello sealed palettes, which I love.The paint behaves on the plastic surface.Where the palette falls short is in build quality. The plastic feels brittle and the hinges are shoddy and misaligned, which makes me wonder if it is, in fact, airtight. It makes a terrible noise when I close it due to plastic scraping, and I wonder if it will break. The casting/build quality on the smaller Mr. Pen and Mijello palettes is much better, in my opinion.I think in terms of price point, $10 would be a more fair price given the quality. So I give this an A for design and a B or C for build quality, which needs some re-engineering.In terms of the wells and ample real estate, it's my favorite, and it's what qualifies it as a studio palette and not just a travel palette, although you could use it for either. My four-star rating is due to quality issues.

I looked for a long time for this palette after losing the one I had purchased used. I love this palette!There are a lot of wells, so this is particularly well suited for someone who keeps a lot of colors; but there are some additional uses for so many wells. I like to use some of the large wells for water. The medium and large wells are excellent for mixing. Even if you only use the small wells for fresh paint or storage, you still have plenty available.Other things I like:- My watercolors don’t bead up on the plastic.- you can use it as a storage and mixing palette at the same time.- it’s sturdy and has an effective seal when closed.- it keeps my watercolors moist for a long time when closed.- like other palettes that close, it protects my paints from dust that will mess up a painting.- the wells are nicely laid out for keeping color families clean.Potential negatives:- you can’t close the lid if you have wet paint in the top.- the palette is quite large so it wouldn’t be easy to hold while painting. Best used on a table or other surface.If this ever breaks or gets lost, I will definitely replace it with another of the same.

I'm using it for extra mixing space and paint storage in the studio. Nice quality!

This is a really nice paint palette. The size is bigger than it looks in the picture, and I love the variety of wells. However, the airtightness doesn't extend to between them, only the outside edge. So it won't leak into your bag, but the colors will run together if you've got a bit of water in them.

This is well made. I personally don't like that the wells slant as I like a flat surface for mixing.

My palette was delivered inside a strong Amazon cardboard envelope. It was also packaged inside a strong plastic bag so it reached me undamaged. The palette is made of thick, strong, ivory-white plastic. The item is made to full presentation standards because there is no flash round the edges. It is a nice product with lots of wells for placing the colour squeezed out of tubes; there are areas for paint mixing and areas for building washes. When used sensibly, this tool might outlast its owner. It is too bulky to take on lightweight sketching trips but it could be taken with you when your main purpose is to be out and about painting seriously. The palette is definitely strong enough to cope with travel.

Je l'utilise pour mes couleurs à l'aquarelle que je préfère acheter en tubes.Contrairement à d'autres palettes de ce genre que j'ai testées, les couleurs adhèrent correctement sur le matériau de la palette. Je peux donc refermer ma palette quand les couleurs sont sèches dedans, et la transporter sans crainte qu'elles se sauvent un fois durcies/sèches.J'utilise les 24 petites cases pour déposer mes couleurs de base et les cases plus grandes pour faire mes mélanges. Leur nombre permet de ne pas avoir à faire de la place en cours de peinture. Les cases plus grandes sont aussi très pratique pour les grands "wash" avec un grand pinceau large par exemple.Attention, ne convient pas pour utiliser avec des couleurs acryliques parce qu'effectivement la boite n'est pas complètement étanche.De la même façon, laisser bien sècher les couleurs aquarelles/gouaches avant de fermer sinon tout va se mélanger ^^

Tras varias semanas de uso y pintar varios cuadros, mis conclusiones acerca de la paleta son las siguientes:Buen tamaño para poder echar la pintura en cada departamento sin miedo a que se esparrame y/ o mezcle.Cierre hermético permite que puedas hacer un breve descanso mientras pintas sin miedo a que se seque la pintura, con cerrarlo es suficiente.Se limpia bien y no quedan pegotes tras lavarla, ni restos de los colores.Y por último tiene departamentos grandes para poder hacer mezclas en ella, la anterior que usaba no tenia esta opción.Para la gente que pintamos es muy importante poder tener todo junto ya que es mas ágil y practico.La he usado tanto para acuarelas como óleos.

Ho ordinato questo prodotto perché introvabile presso negozi dedicati al settore. Ne avevo visto l'utilizzo su YouTube e me ne sono subito innamorato. Il prodotto è fatto in una plastica molto robusta, dotato di una clip per la chiusura (ermetica) comodissima e ben fatta. Sono entusiasta dell'acquisto, che consiglio vivamente.
