Fits perfectly
I got this because I bought a new Festool sander but I had a bunch of Diablo sandnet sanding paper that I wanted to use and not have to just throw away. This worked like a charm.

Besonders gut/wichtig wenn mit Netz-Schleifscheiben wie Cubitron gearbeitet wird
Gerade bei Mesh-Schleifscheiben ragen die Velcro-"Haken" etwas durch die Schleifscheibe und werden mit der Zeit etwas abgeraspelt -> ohne Protection Pad muss irgendwann die (wesentlich teurere) Backing plate gewechselt werden (statt des billigen Protection Pads).Das Protection Pad ist schön "steif" und führt nicht dazu, dass man immer runde Kanten schleift weil es sich "um das Holz" schmiegt (also anders als bei den extra dafür gemachten, weichen und dicken pads)

Save your sander!
This works great to protect the main sanding disk. Not only is the vecro super sticky, when it wears out you can swap it vs a much more expensive part of the sander. I wore down the velcro just using it and made that mistake, then found these!

macht den schleifteller noch weicher, aber auch haltbarer...
es ist hal eine zusätzliche Schicht auf dem Schleifteller.. macht ihn insgesamt etwas weicher und dicker, aber dafür wird der Klett des Tellers nicht in Mitleidenschaft gezogen, wenn man mal nicht aufpasst.
