Keep one, give away two, OR, keep them all!
I misread and thought I was going to get ONE of the three colors of this pen but was more than pleasantly surprised to see all three! At a little over five dollars a pen, this pen is worth considering. I believe that if you are a fountain pen lover, there is a pen out there that is just right for you.The nib feels a bit dry on Rhodia paper but on more modest paper, it flows well (owing to the more porous nature of the cheaper copier paper). I found that after writing for a while, the flow improved considerably even on Rhodia paper. This is a steel nib, there is no flex and no line variation. The pen produces a fine line on Rhodia paper and between a fine and medium when used on regular copy paper.I grew up with Parker, Shaeffer, and Cross, so this pen is very familiar to me. Still, Hero has included some specific design differences between it and the Parker 51. For example, the pen is lighter, slimmer and feels lightweight in the hand, which could be a big plus for some. It is for me when I want to write for long periods of time. There is the distinctive gold arrow on the grip section that is aligned with the hooded nib, but the Parker arrow clip on the cap has been swapped for a more traditional chrome-finished clip with HERO engraved on it. The cap itself has a brushed steel finish so the chrome accent of the clip is a nice touch. The finial on the vintage used to have squared edges and a dome; the Hero 329 is a perfect cigar shape on both ends. Finally, the ring that connects the section to the barrel is thinner than on the 51; I actually like it better since it eliminates any potential disturbance while writing. No step, no sharp threads, one smooth flowing pen, like the Lamy 2000.I tried to loosen the aerometric filler to see if it could be eyedroppered but I couldn't. Perhaps an expert could? Not sure.Measurements of the HERO 329:Nib: Iridium Fine NibFilling system: Aerometric filler with sac and pressure bar; providedMaterial: PlasticCap: Friction fitCapped length: 140 mmUncapped length: 123 mmPosted length: 147 mmDiameter: 13.5 mmWeight (pen w/o ink): 15 gPros: The pen writes well right out of the box and gets better with continued use. The nib is fine and produces a nice line of writing without any skips or false starts. It's lightweight, allows for longer periods of writing, has a nice vintage feel on both color and design, and is absolutely hard to beat for the price!Cons: I don't think there are any cons, the pen writes, it does what it's supposed to do! If you like buttery smooth nibs or broad nibs, if you have big or long hands and prefer weightier, more substantial pens, this is not for you.

simple, lightweight and sustainable
love the pens, just what i was looking for to fulfill my childhood nostalgia of writing with a refillable ink pen. and i believe is a more sustainable option for everyday at home writing, compared to use and throw ball point pens.

Overwhelming Value...very nice writers
I had a lot of hope yet kept myself in check as to what I should expect from such a low cost pen. This pen has blown away every expectation I had. It had a lot of things stacked against it. First it only came in a 3 pack..... That sure doesn't make me think quality.Second it only came with ef/f nibs. I tend to hate EF nibs due to the fact hat the majority come dragging and scratching across the paper. They also usually come pretty dry writing as well, not bringing out the proper qualities of the ink I own. In fact in preparation for receiving this pen, I had already ordered a 4 pk of Bobby mini fude nibs that will fit this and other pens I own.Well today I inked them up and wrote with them and to my great surprise they all have blown me away. They are so smooth they outperform my best medium German steel nibs. They are actually as smooth as my very nicest 14k Fine German nibs but just not as springy.... they are steel after all. They are also nice and wet which is very hard to do with such a small nib. They write wonderfully and make the most of the ink I have used in them. I will not be swapping any of the mini fude nibs into these. I will save them for other pens I may order in the future. I couldn't be happier with these pens. Awesome buy!!!

Fountain pens from chine
Not bad for the price, would have appreciated a slightly better quality rubber bladder, you have to really make an effort to get the reservoir filled. Only 1/3 pens performed smoothly, the other 2 nibs keep scratching the page and are rough. Could make an excellent gifting option especially for young ones just learning to use a fountain pen.

Nice Retro Feel, the "Bic" of the Fountain Pen World
I own a few different types of fountain pens, and while they all write relatively the same, these feel like good every-day pens, or pens you can take to work with you and not feel the need to watch over them since they are cheap, plastic, and light. The cap is metal, which helps balance the pen in use when put on the back of the pen for writing. The pen itself is plastic and has a nice sleek hidden type nib. While bladder converters aren't my favorite, I had no problems filling all three up with ease. You won't feel like your in Edwardian times writing with these, but the ink flows well, I've been using them daily for over a week and haven't had to refill the bladder. I wouldn't gift these to anyone as a fancy thing, but perhaps for a beginner fountain pen enthusiast, these are nice.

This is the worst item I have ever purchased
This has been the worst item I have ever purchased from Amazon. All items arrived broken. Terrible quality, it is a real scam and dishonest advertising, where the hopeful buyer is deceived. I am so disapointed that I think I must not purchase by Amazon never more.

Nice value
Nice value, pleasantly surprised at about $5 each. Writes as well as my 1947 Parker 51 and looks similar. Feels very nice on paper like standard copy paper. Fine point writes with the tiniest bit of scratch as is expected. F oil r what it's worth, I've discovered that it will write even finer if I turn the pen over ,writing with the top of the nib, and it's still smooth. Clear ink sac allows you to see as it fills. Good materials and workmanship. Don't know for sure about durability but they feel sturdy. I have them filled with black, blue-black and blue ink. Wish I'd had these in 7th grade way back when we were REQUIRED to write with fountain pen. Could have driven my teachers nuts with 3 different colors!
