Buy It! And Then Come Back for More!
It would be so much easier to say what you Can't use this for, because I use it in so many ways. Anytime a recipe calls for maple syrup, use this. You'll be cutting the sugar and carbs out and lowering the glycemic index to zero. OK, so you might have to make a couple of adjustments. If your recipe is calling for Maple Syrup, then I add a little bit of GUM to the recipe. You can use any type like Xanthan. I use Glucomannon, but that's my preference, because it's the healthiest and most natural. That's just to add the thickness that is missing. If your recipe is just asking for a couple tablespoons of maple syrup, you don't need to be concerned, but if it says 1/4 cup or more, then you'll want to compensate.OK, so what all can you use this for? I love to use a little in my Waffles or Pancakes with Crumbled Bacon mixed in. YUMMY!!. Then, you have to try it in Ice cream. WHAT?? You betcha! In ice cream, I like it with added Pecan or Walnuts. I also like to have some of those Hanson's Skinny Zero Calorie Syrups on hand and mix some of the flavors together with it to make unique zero calorie flavors. I've come up with some fantastic flavors for Ice Cream, Donuts, Cookies and Bars. Also have used this in making Cinnamon Rolls. I, of course, love the taste of Maple, but I'm Diabetic so I can't have a zillion carb real maple syrup. So, I have to fake it and make the next best thing. This is it.Another Fantastic Taste is Honey & Maple together. You can either use Real Honey and mix a little of this, 50/50 Honey (which is a combination of Honey & Splenda) or Honey Flavoring (for Zero Calories or KETO). They do make pancake syrups that are Honey/Maple combinations, but they are loaded with sugar and carbs. You can make your own. You have the technology...lolThis is a great price for this. If you don't think so, compare it at your local store. The price of all baking supplies have gone through the roof and extracts are no exception. My advice is buy it, try it and if you like it, buy 2 or 3. The prices will not get cheaper. You can count on that. Thank you for reading my review and Happy Baking! If you found any of my review helpful, please let me know.

Nice touch of maple flavor
I looked at many places for a decent maple flavor to no avail till I tried this one. It is wonderful for that hint of warm flavor in muffins, coffee cakes, pancakes etc. I like to use it in a 10x glaze on muffins or coffeecake drizzle. A little bit in plain yogurt is great, made better with a few roasted walnuts added!Kinda wished it had a bottle better able to pour w/o dripping. No complaints about the flavoring! p.s. I'm not a super cook but it elevates simple too!

Same bottle, different label.
I am not sure if I got the correct product. The bottle looks the same but it has a generic white label not the normal Olive Nation label. Time will tell. If it is the same product it deserves 5 stars.

This was a good buy for the flavor, as a little bit goes a long way. the size of the bottle was nice too.

Makes a very tasty coffee cream
I drink coffee with cream and wanted to make my own coffee cream. I don't like the taste of vanilla coffee cream, so vanilla extract wasn't an option. I came across this recipe that requires only three ingredients: milk (I use whole milk), sugar or sugar substitute and an extract for flavor. Amongst those flavors, the recipe mentioned maple. Other than on pancakes, I have never tasted maple flavor on anything, let alone coffee. So I ordered this maple extract from Amazon to give it a try. I figured that if it didn't work well with coffee, I could always use it on my pancakes. Anyway, I follow the recipe and made my own maple flavor coffee cream. Made a fresh cup of java, added the maple coffee cream and I must say, it tasted delicious. Don't believe me? Give it a try. By the way, the quality of this Maple Extract is superb.

Make Maple Syrup
Watching reviews on American Test Kitchen all the Maple syrups were good. The light, medium, dark all got good ratings.None of the imitation syrups were recommended. I decided to either get the real syrup or make my own for a fraction of the cost. Plus, one can touch up the product with the right amount of starch, concentrate and salt.
