SIMPATCH – Omnipod Adhesive Patch with Strap (25-Pack) – Waterproof Adhesive, CGM Tape (Purple)

Simpatches have been an absolute game changer for me!! I have trouble with Omnipods leaking when I use my stomach area as an infusion site. When I use a Simpatch, the pod stays locked in place on my stomach/abdomen, keeping the cannula in place and preventing leakage. Easy to apply and very secure/sticky. Highly recommend!!

These are great! My two year old is diabetic and the strap across the top keeps her from accidentally tearing her pods off.

Bought these for a type 1 friend who can't apply his own pods and sensors due to essential tremors. I frequently help apply his diabetic supplies and these have been a godsend.The adhesive sticks well and he so far has had no reactions to it. Frankly he has more redness from the omnipod 5 adhesive itself than from the area covered by the simpatch.It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of application due to the strap section but once you do these are extremely quick and easy. First "break" the perforations all apart on the backer paper sections. Then, remove the center backing paper from the strap ONLY. Slightly STRETCH that strap as you apply it to the pod making sure it's centered properly and that the strap is stretched all the way around the pod so that the rest of the patch can lay flat on the skin.Then peel the shorter end sections one at a time and apply them. Only then do you want to peel the longer side sections one at a time and secure them. Once done firmly smooth it with your fingers or better yet use a gift card or something similar as a squeegee to assure it's stuck all the way down and as smooth as possible.Even my first application went well enough... By the second I was a pro.

Works well but irritates my skin. I couldn’t wait to take my device off. The Omnipod works 3 days before change. It was a long 3 days.

These used to be good, but something has changed. The last pack I bought was horrible, but gave them the benefit of the doubt and bought another pack…and it’s the same junk. Less than 12 hours and it is peeling up and will not stick. I will not buy these again. Waste of money.

My daughter is almost 4 and this has been a life saver! Does it leave a residue and is it hard to take off? Yes, but I had to use adhesive remover for all the other patches we tried as well, and came back to this because it really stays in place! Especially during the summer sweaty water months. I highly recommend it!
