I've been buying KMC brand chains for years now
I don't think I've ever purchased a chain that was not a KMC chain. In my opinion, this is one of the best chains for the price. The colors are great, very vibrant, and if you do proper maintenance on it the color will shine for years.I see some complaints about the color of blue that people received. I purchased a blue one and what I received matches the picture on Amazon. A very standard metallic blue color.Over the years I've purchased many different colors for many different bikes and have not been disappointed at all. These chains are great for any road bike to single speed conversions you do, or any standard fixed/track bike you might have. I usually have to remove 4-5 links to fit my bike and it's a really easy task (assuming you have a chain tool and know how to use it).The chain comes with a master link to connect the two ends together, which is very easy to attach and click in place. Removing the master link can be a bit annoying, but just take a deep breath and pay attention and it will come off pretty quickly. If I can't get my fingernail under it to remove it, I usually use a small flat screw driver. If you plan on reusing it, be careful not to bend or break it.I've used this KMC chain in all weather biking 40+ miles a day before and now doing a normal 50-100 miles a week and have had no issues. As long as you keep your chain properly cleaned and lubed, it will last a long time.

Brown looks like dark silver
I purchased the brown version because it was the cheapest- my top choice was gold, but it was pricier enough I couldn't justify getting it. I also contemplated silver as a safe choice, but ended up giving in to frugality and sad visions of a poo-colored chain.Thankfully, the brown is pretty close to what is depicted- it looks like a dark chrome. Essentially identical to my silver stock chain that came with my bike. I'm pretty stoked about this- saved a few bucks and got a good-looking chain, my irrational fears of a poo-brown alleviated!Installation was easy- just needed a chain breaker to get my old one off, and then to adjust the length of this one shorter. I also installed the master link it came with (my old one didn't have one) for easier removal in the future.Rides like a charm, hasn't shown signs of snapping under high tension (granted, I'm only 125 lbs, so can't speak for forces higher than what I can generate). I've also only had it for a month, so I can't say too much about longevity at this point.I straight up abused my previous chain- riding salted and slush covered sidewalks all winter, 'til it rusted into oblivion. Hopefully this chain will not meet the same fate, though I can't make any promises. If it does, at least I know where to get my next one.

Perfect fixed gear bike chain
After 1.5 years of daily commuting it was time to replace the chain. This works great and feels very smooth. A chain tool is needed to reduce the chain length down to the proper size. Used on a 6ku urban track bike. Overall good value.

All Gold Everything
I only need to say one thing. "I got a gold chain on my whip, son". Chain is strong and looks fly as **** on my fixie. I've got the dopest chain in my burb, killa. It did stretch out a bit after a week of use and came off in the middle of my commute but I just jammed my foot into the front tire and stopped. I mean I got a longer gold chain so I'm basically getting more moneys worth. It's mad greased up so I doubt I'll get much at the pawnshop if I need some quick scrilla. Don't get caught with anything else. Stay fly, stay fixie, stay golden.Looks good with my new crankset. Alloy Fixie Single Speed Crankset With BB 48 Teeth 170mm WhiteAlso don't need a chain break with this as it comes with a master link.

Looks great on my '03 FA Trail Devil
Looks great on my '03 FA Trail Devil. I needed a new chain, and I was looking to get a colored one. This is the stock chain that came with my bike in '03, so I went ahead and got this. Looks dope.People having trouble with the Master Link just don't know how to install it. It is actually really easy. When you have your chain connected with the piece with the posts, just sit the other side on top, hold with your thumbs, and give the chain a slight bend towards you, and it should snap on both posts. Same way to remove it.Rides nice and smooth and now my bike is ripping it again!

Bicycle chain is just what I needed
This is exactly what the description says. It worked well and was sized correctly for my bike.

Color Misleading.
I ordered this chain for my bike since the chain i had was not working right even though it was from KMC, but i did not know which KMC chain it was. The chain arrived with in a week and when i opened the box i was discouraged. The blue chain they sent me was a sky blue chain with a silver master link and not a matching blue master link. Granted the chain is lighter than my old chain, but i was really hoping they would give me the blue chain they have advertised as their picture because it would go great with my blue rims, but i did have my suspicion before purchasing the chain that i was not going to get that color blue because the photo makes it look like they spray painted the chain. If you are going to sell something and have a photo of it, make sure the photo is accurate.
