Why didn’t I discover this years ago.
I needed to clean some threads on a plumbing hub. The hub made of cast-iron was so corroded from the galvanized pipe. I was having a hard time trying to clean the threads. I bought this tap and it worked perfectly. I’ve been doing plumbing for 45 years and can’t believe that I hadn’t bought this sooner. It was easy to use and is extremely heavy duty. I used some WD-40 and the tap along with a crescent wrench, and took care of the problem in a very short time.

Cleaned rusty threads
Great Tap. I damaged some threads on a water pump trying to install the plug after dewinterizing. The threads was very rusty and this tap fixed the damaged threads and cleaned the rust.

Worth it!
Without a doubt I recommend this tape. Had a cast iron pipe that the threads were messed up in and found this tap, ordered it, had it the next day and it rethreaded it and saved me big time! I may only use it once but 28$ was cheaper than paying a plumber.
