Did the job I bought it to do. Only issue is that the middle connector loosens up with use and you have to tighten it occasionally.

Worked well however the pipe is very light and thin will not last long.

This tool is made up of about $10 worth of black steel pipe, one small flange, and 4 mild steel tap screws. One could make is from parts in any hardware store. And it doesn't work well- the four screws will just pull-up a lump of soil. If you are very gentle, you'll make 4 little holes. There's no way this is could be practical for anything more than a few square feet of overseeding. There's other hand-tilling tools that are much more effective to make for sowing grass seeds in smaller areas. If you need to do large parts of a yard, this is definitely NOT the tool.

Asislde from a shipping bad expirence, once I received the second grass seed Spiker I put it to use. I would like to begin by stating I have a small back yard, the area I needed to regrass was also small but this tool will sure put you to work. It is way to small, this tool is literally for small patches. The area I did took me about an hour of spiking the floor because of how small it is. If you have a big area to re grass I would honestly say, save your money. If you just have a few patches to cover I guess this will work.

This consists of about $5.00 of material and is not well made. It's price is grossly inflated. Simply put, it is nowhere near worth the price. Chinese junk. Caveat Emptor. I do not recommend for anything other than wasting your money.

I just needed this to loosen topsoil on bare spots in lawn so I could drop seed and have it reach a safe depth to germinate. Great tool to aerorate your yard just by walkin up and down your grass and pokeing this in the ground every foot or so. Afterward, toss your grass seed down and when water hits it, instead of your grass just draining out into the street, the intent is for the seeds to flow down into the holes you just poked in the ground. Nice, cheap, quick way to get the job done !!!
