BLACKHAWK 71RA01BK Sportster Bipod Picatinny Rail Adaptor

I bought two of these adaptors to enable a quick change from bipod to track plate. For the track plate function, I removed the sling/bipod post and drilled and tapped two 10-32 holes to mount the track plate (using blue loc-tote to ensure it doesn’t loosen with recoil). The flat base of the Blackhawk adaptor works very well for this application. The other Blackhawk adapter I have fitted to my Sinclair F Class bipod, no fitment issues - nice and secure fit. Now I can quickly change from track plate to bipod or vice versa. As noted with other reviews, recommend using a pair of pliers to ensure adaptor doesn’t loosen with recoil (I have my plier jaws wrapped with several layers of electrical tape to prevent marring). No problems after numerous rounds. The lock nut is a 1/4” nut but unless you have a very thin walled socket, it won’t fit inside the knurled knob to tighten said nut hence the pliers recommendation. I would recommend this product.

Picked this up to mount my Harris Engineering bi-pod to my Ar-15. To put it simple this thing works like it should. I've put a few hundred rounds through my gun with this and the bi-pod and it has yet to come loose. Even during rapid fire, everything stays tight and secure. No complaints yet..

Like it was built for my Harris clone bipod. Works great! So much cheaper than a picatinny bipod, and not a lot more weight. Just the ticket.

Nice solid fit, great price, looks level. I didn't use this for a bi-pod but part of a diy project. Great flat, smooth piece of hardware. I think the hinge is the best part more like an axle than just a grip bar. I like Blackhawk's stuff, going to go out of my way to find their stuff for my needs.

I needed an adapter for my Harris bipod which only mounts to a swivel stud. I have a short pictanny rail that I wanted to put the Harris on. I've put a few hundred rounds through my 308 using this mount on my bipod and I'm really pleased with the quality and low cost. It secured snugly to the rail section, and my bipod fastened tight to the swivel stud. For a fraction of the cost of other name brand adaptors, this fit my needs perfectly.

These were a poor fit. So i returned them Both for a refund. I was refunded Only for ONe of these! I contacted Amazon several times and it was never resolved. I also contacted the vendor with No satisfaction.

Good way to mount a sling-oriented bipod like the Blackhawk Sportster. Great setup!
