Great little label maker
Great little label maker. The label tape goes a little faster than expected, but that is not the fault of the label maker obviously. This one seems pretty durable. I use it out in the field and have gone through several of the less armored ones. I am very happy with this one so far and I can recommend it. Lots of options for font and size. Goes very small if you need detailed labeling.

Nice Change from Brady
I work in a commercial data center and always used Brady products for label wiring. This unit is a nice change. It's a good bit bulkier than the Brady hand-helds, which is my only material criticism of it--I put it on a lanyard because I found I was prone to dropping it while I juggled the wire, the label, and the labeler. The other odd thing is that it doesn't re-spool up the black transfer film like the Bradys do: when you print a label, it ejects both the label and the black imprinting film, which you need to separate from the label in addition to the backing before applying. I thought I just fumbled the cartridge install the first time, but now three cartridges in, they all work the same. These are minor nuisances so I'm docking one star for an otherwise perfect product for my needs. Really like this and recommend it.

Nice tool!
Ive had this 2 months now and find it handier to use all the time. I bought it for automotive wiring harness building and the ability to print shrink tube, It does an excellent job of that. I even printed the circuit labels for a household electric service breaker box. My biggest recommendation would be buy the whole kit with battery, charger and case. I bought the tool only and found out 6 good quality aa batteries last about 15 minutes. So time i bought a battery and charger I have more in it and still don't have a case so that is my advice. I also bought compatible cartridges a lot cheaper and they work perfect. So don’t feel like name brand is all that works. Also i have yet to charge the battery with quite a lot of use so having the rechargeable battery will pay for itself the first use.

Good quality but lacks font options
This label maker is sturdy and looks like it can take a beating, but it does not offer any font choices besides the size of the text. No option to make it bold, outlined, underlined, italic, etc. There are times when this is very helpful, especially when labeling equipment and cables. Also, the batteries run down pretty quickly. I had to replace the 6 AA batteries before I used the first roll of tape.In the end, it's a good label maker but for these reasons I would recommend a different model unless you don't think you'll ever need a label to look differently.
