Reasonable price/GHz/Core for budget build
For the price, even though this processor is almost a decade old, it's worth it for a budget build for someone whom doesn't need the cutting edge rig for high end gaming or the like.Came in OE bulk plastic (tray style)...no heatsink, no fan...some thermo greaseI highly recommend the Noctua NH-D14 heatsink/fan combo for this 8 core cpuworks well

Great Processor
If you have an AM3 MB, this is a great upgrade if you don't want to build an entirely new computer. I replaced my FX-6300 Black Edition with it and it's doing everything I hoped it would!

Did not come with thermal paste
I like this chip. Its almost as fast as later versions and cheaper. It is hot. I had a lot of trouble getting it cool. Finally settled on a "Cooler Master" which works great. This supplier did not include thermal paste as advertised. Minus a star for that, not the chip.

Exceptional Value!
The AMD FX8350 is a great processor. It holds up well in gaming use with one caveat: it really needs a good heat sink/fan combo, such as AMD's "Wraith" cooler. Otherwise, temperature could be a problem.

Doesn’t come with thermal paste
The processor is brand new, but the package does not come with thermal paste like it says that it does. Minor inconvenience but thermal paste was in the product description.

Decent for upgrade
This is not a 8 core processor no mater what AMD markets it as. It is 4 cores with 8 threads. Having said that, it is a worthy upgrade for a older system. It runs very warm so dont cheap out on the cpu fan.I would not use this in a new build, better options out there.
