Wasabi Power Battery for Sigma BP-41 and Sigma DP1 Merrill, DP2 Merrill, DP3 Merrill

Longer life per charge than the original battery and works great on the camera and charger.

Given how power hungry/starved the Sigma DP1M is, having an extra battery is a must until a charger is at hand. With two batteries I can get about 100-150 photos out of the camera.

These Wasabi batteries performed the same as the original BP-41 Sigma batteries. Some newer Sigma BP-41 batteries I bought performed better, almost twice as many pictures than the older ones (90-120 per charge as opposed to 60-70). These Wasabi batteries are a much better value at $10 vs $48 for the Sigmas.

Having had good experience with this exact battery purchased previously, this battery exhibit one or more problems.1) It indicated being fully charged after a very short time of charging.2) When used in my Sigma DP1m digital camera, the camera indicated dead battery after taking just a dozen photos.3) Later in the day, after another battery was exhausted normally, I tried using this new battery again with success--taking a few photos, but also with at least one digitally scrambled, defective image--something that had not happened before.

Better than the OEM batteries...they fit beautifully..........they last longer than the OEM's...by a lot. I just ordered 2 more....and this is no joke. I also bought some Wasabi's for my Sony a6000......saved a TON of money !

While this battery is only a fraction of the cost of the OEM it delivers at least equal performance. It charges as quickly and provides, apparently, more energy density. It fits perfectly in the camera and the charger.

Works perfect. Great solution to the sigma power problem.

Arrived on time and the batteries fit properly. They also keep their charge a bit longer than the stock sigma batteries
