Great for hand application!
This is a liquid wax that is very easy to apply and remove, as opposed to paste wax. Perfect for those who don't have a machine applicator (I suggest NOT using a machine applicator to avoid "slinging" the product everywhere). The product does feel a bit thin/watery - but it dries quickly, and is easy to remove the excess and polish to a flawless shine by hand with just a microfiber towel, without working up a sweat.Overall effect is as expected for any carnauba based product. It adds a nice deep gloss effect. The wax will tend to yellow a bit over time, so if you buy a bottle of this, make sure to remove and reapply more regularly than other more modern paint sealers like ceramic coatings, etc.

Meguiar's Deep Crystal is still one of the best Carnuba wax products.
I've used all kinds of Carnauba waxes over the last 30 years. From bargain basement products to high-end products with outlandish claims. In the end, I still come back to Meguiar's Deep Crystal. I've been using Deep Crystal for the last 10 years or so. One thing I can appreciate, is that it seems to use the same formulation during that time. Quite a few products, such as Liquid Glass, underwent several formula changes that turned a iconic product into something I wouldn't use on my worst enemy's car.Following the directions, this wax goes on very easy and dries to a haze in a reasonably quick amount of time. One advantage this wax has, one can do the entire vehicle with a cool surface and come back to the first waxed panel and it still buffs off with ease. When it comes to time, this is a forgiving wax if applied properly with a thin coat. Heavy coats will result in a streaky appearance and a not so fun time trying to remove the wax. This is one of those waxes that WILL stain plastic trim. Although it won't be as obvious as some, it will still show up.The resulting appearance at this price point is why I keep coming back to this wax. Deep Crystal produces the classic deep wet look that also does a remarkable job with color saturation and hiding in minor scratches after it's allowed to set. The surface slickness is still unparalleled to any wax I've used to dateLongevity has never been a Carnauba wax strong point. This product is no exception, though Deep Crystal does last longer than some waxes 3x it's price, 4-5 weeks seems to be it's protective lifespan. The water beads and water repellency are very admirable for a Carnauba product. If you're looking for long last durability in harsh climates, this product along with most all other Carnauba waxes is not for you. If you have a garaged vehicle that doesn't regularly see harsh climate conditions, don't mind waxing frequently, and can appreciate the classic wet look of a Carnauba wax this product may be a good fit.All in all, if you're looking a easy-to-use wax with outstanding visual results Deep Crystal merits serious consideration. Are there longer lasting products? Sure. Are there products that produce a better looking result? Absolutely. However, you're going to be hard pressed to find a better product that Deep Crystal especially at this price point.

Easy wax on wax off and very gentle on your paint job
Meguiar’s Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax is my preferred wax that goes on easy and looks and is affordable. If you enjoy waxing your car often, this wax is for you.It goes on quick and easyIt’s cheapBut unfortunately it doesn’t last all that longThe majority of carnauba waxes recommend working on one panel at a time. You apply the wax to a small section of paint, wait for it to haze over and wipe off. This is to avoid the wax getting too hard from leaving it on the paint too long. This wax is a little different. The instructions advise you to apply it to the whole car and then wipe it off. I have tried both methods with the same results.Using a good applicator, you can apply the wax in a thin layer to avoid excess hazing. Wiping is very and requires minimal effort. I usually apply this wax at least four time per year. The only downside is durability. This wax looks great and protects your paint, but it does not last much past a month if this is your everyday driver. Rains and extra washing take off all the slickness in a couple of weeks. Sunny climates will do the same.If durability is not really a big deal then you are fine as most waxes won’t last past the 2 months anyway, no matter what claims they make. The best procedure is to wax whenever times allows you to. Even if you do it once every 2 or months, this would be a good wax for the job. My vehicle sits inside the garage most of the year, so this is not one of my problems.
