Nice Soft but Strong Brushes, pick up color well.
I am enjoying these paint brushes with my watercolors and inks. I have used the 4 Round most, which is a medium sized brush. I at first wanted to get a 6 Round but this one has worked out better than expected, I can cover a good amount of space and also get really fine lines with this brush. The brushes hold water and pick up color really nicely. I would definitely recommend and buy again.

Good Quality Brushes
I find that these are good quality oil painting brushes. They hold their shape well and and can be loaded with a lots of paint. When applying the paint to the canvas, it flows freely. They are also good for fine detail work and dry painting techniques. I am very pleased with the performance and would repurchase this series again.

great starter set
If you are just getting started with painting or need an extra set of brushes that you don't mind might get ruined, this is the perfect set. I frequently purchase these to have around the studio for teaching and for projects that involve materials that I'm experimenting with or know might be hard on brushes. With a lot of use, the ferrules/crimps get loose (a personal pet peeve of mine) and if you use them roughly, the brush tips quickly lose their point, but for the price, the set is well-worth it. It's also a good way to get a variety of brushes to see which sizes and points you reach for, and then invest in individuals of those brushes.

Definitely Recommend! (Wish It Included Bigger Brush Though)
I honestly love these brushes.I read one review that pointed out the fact that the bristles dye to the color you are using. I found this to be true, but it won't affect your work in any way. I find the emphasis of this point to be a little over the top honestly, given the great price for the set. They spread wonderfully, and they feel and look high quality. My ONLY complaint is that since I am using these with acrylics, I wish they included a bigger brush than what is included. I think the amount of small brushes is somewhat... redundant. I think they should have included a 1.5 inch or 2 inch, that would've made me love this set even more.

awfuly wraped and grabed. STOP WITH THE GLUE..
The brushes are wrapped in shipping in a terrible way. This is the first order in my life where the brushes are held inside their box by glue. Why do you need the glue? Just leave them inside the structure that holds them and the plastic and nylon that wraps them and that's it. The glue is terrible. You have to stop with this unnecessary gluing. The glue is so strong that it tears the brush from its holder along with the paint of the wood along with the letters of the inscription. What ever for ? it stuck all the things around them..

Great product
I am very glad I decided to buy these. I'm doing canvas painting with acrylics, and these brushes worked perfectly. No splitting, shedding, or staining (make sure you wash them off with water right after you use them) and the selection of shapes and sizes is great. I definitely would recommend these for both professionals and beginners.

Great Starter Brushes
I used these brushes for watercolor and they work pretty amazing. The only thing that bothered me though was how easy the bristles can stain. I only use it once and my brushes turn into the color I used them for.It doesn't disapoint me that much since they're student grade brushes. They are really nice and smooth brushes and they get the job done. I honestly would recommend these to anyone who wants to try any painting medium, but once I get better, I would look to spend more on artist grade brushes.

Beautiful soft brushes that work tremendously well and are priced way lower than other similar products
