Wall-Mounted Glass Touch Panel LED Dimmer Switch Brightness Controller DC 12-24V for Single Color LED Strip Light - Black

This was used in a travel travel. My TT came with factory LED lighting on the interior. They were either on or off, so I used this for the dimming feature to control the brightness. The responsiveness is very impressive and the touch pad is not extremely sensitive but you don't have to press hard for ut to function which makes it very easy to use.

The left and right arrows no longer work but that's because I'm new to electronics and I didn't have the wires in correctly.I attempted to do this using 16 awg stranded wire and it hasn't been a success. I've learned a new method of stripping more wire rather than enough to fit into the pocket holes and then folding it in half specifically for this device because the 16awg wire was being tugged out with no success.I then tried to use some 12 awg stranded wire but it's far too thick.I'm currently looking into investing in a soldering tip and using that to make the fitting more solid.I think with the right expertise, a skilled handyman would have far more luck with this thing than I have.

I'm now faced with the inconvenience of finding an alternative solution or seeking repairs, which adds unexpected hassle and cost to the situation. Overall, this experience has been disappointing, highlighting the importance of durable and reliable products in the market.

I installed this dimmer switch in a standard 1 gang outlet box with no issues. I'm using it to control LED 12v puck lights which were also purchased on Amazon.

Yeah, easy install, turns my lights on and off 👍, dimmer function is a bit glitchy at times but after 2 years we have an understanding.However, they turn themselves on (regardless of temperature) for no apparent reason. Go figure. 🤷‍♂️

This is a very modern looking bit of kit. Low voltage LED lights are a modern thing so IMO this is more appropriate than a 1950 era technology light switch.

I really like these dimmer switches but I'm having a weird issue with one of them where I will turn on my lights and it will be bright but without touching it it automatically dims and won't stay on the bright setting and I don't know how to fix it. I have to rip out my wall in my RV order to remove it too...
