Incredibly useful, easy to operate
I bought this to measure the effectiveness of a UV-protective window film installed in my apartment. The numbers were just what I expected!It gave me peace of mind to know the film was effective. It will also allow me to measure if the film ever degrades, so I know when to replace it.Really glad to have this UVA meter to make sure my skin is protected from UVA rays while indoors.

Wasted my money
There is no instruction manual which I need to determine what the values measured mean. It’s useless. BTW I tried Amazon’s online manual as well as the mfg website, with no luck. Junk

it works
i got this to test all of my sunglasses labeled as UV Blocking how much UV light they actually block. the device is very accurate and easy to use. it did show that uv400 sunglasses block ~99%, and the rest a little less. not sure i'll need it for anything else tho :)

Apparently good instrument; needs traceability
AMTAST UVC light meter is easy to operate; however I have no idea whether the readings reflects reality since there is no certificate of traceability to any standard.

This meter gives a reasonable value at 365nm which agrees with 2 other UV meters I have.

Doesn't measure uvb
Only measure 400nm and up.
