Do not buy!!I don't know why or how this microphone does this BUT you have to put new batteries in every time you want to play with it!!!My daughter can play with it in the afternoon leave it for a few hours or even till the next day as kids do. The next day or even after a few hours you must replace the batteries again!!! Honestly I have tried everything from taking them out, putting them back in, re setting, switching it off when little one is finished playing with it, put it on its stand, even take the batteries out till next play. Nope nothing works those batteries are dead!So if you have a little one that may use this every day stock up on batteries costing us a pretty fortune for batteries everyday.I am not exaggerating we need new batteries every single day for this toy to work.

Lovely microphone and lights. My daughter was so excited when it arrived and hasn't stopped playing with it. It has really nice features including Bluetooth. We made a mistake and thought that the volume wasn't very good but then realised if you twist it you can adjust the volume.I'm sure a lot of people have made this mistake and didn't realise it does has volume control :) happy customer and happy daughter :)

My son is a bit young for full blown karaoke but he loves the Star Wars theme and sings along to that. He loves the light show exclaiming “wow” everyone he turns it on. The Bluetooth function is very easy to setup and works very well. Sound quality is very good for a toy. The mic is a good weight and the item is well made.

Purchase for our 6 year old daughter who loves singing and mock performing.The microphone is decent enough with a few modes on it, (much better than the cheap muli-function mics you see around that last for 10mins before breaking which we replaced with this item).The base has a decent disco light but it and the stand are lightweight plastic so don't expect durability, I have had to glue the base of the mic clip (where the mic sits in the stand) which is holding up ok and I think the adjustable ratchet for angling the mic is a bit flimsy and again I don't see it lasting that long.That said, daughter likes it and it will probably last until she moves on to the next fad, trend or whatever.....

My 3 years old daughter loves it. It makes sounds, she can change her voice and record it, but definitely it's a toy for little kids to play with. My 5 year old it's not interested in it as limited stuff to do with it.

Really bad sound quality, does not amplify voice. Broke completely after a few uses.

The stand wobbles a bit and the sound isn’t very loud. When speaking into the microphone your normal voice sounds a bit louder than the microphone but it’s suitable for our 2year old who loves singing in the microphone while playing his toy guitar.

the disco light ceiling that can be created too is a real plus!
