This is gona be bit long story...so, if you have no patients to read - here it is, these pills work for me!!! You dont need to read all of the below now =)I have all my body parts, never had surgery, gallbladder in place. When I was 12, I had HepA, which is least dangerous, but contagious. Spent days in hospital, pain in right side of rib cage, unable take deep breath, nor laugh, because it hurt. My poop was pale yellow, once even almost white, no bile was produced. I was on strict diet for 6 months, pain and symptoms went away and all was forgotten. But ever since then, if I eat rich and spicey foods, once in a while I need take digestive enzymes, usually Mezym forte or Liv52.During April C19 lockdown my daily routine changed and eating habits too. What one does on lockdown? Sit on couch, watch movies and eat. I did same thing >=( I am 5'7 150Lbs give or take, in my mid 40s. I have hyperthyroid, but within normal limits, no meds required and I dont gain weight. So, I can eat like a pig without worrying about weight, right? Wrong!!! Being on lock down, eating at all hours, especially fried/spicey foods, 3rd week into April I began feeling metallic bitter taste, then few days later it turned into sweetish/bitter and then it became sweetish/bitter/ pukey taste. I knew I have bile overproduction reflux and my liver needs help! It was so bad, I couldnt sleep at night and no regular enzymes, such as Mezym forte would help. I knew then, I have done it to myself, letting myself eat late, and eating all sorts of rich fatty/spicey foods >=( I looked up bile reflux supplements and found Bilex. Upon reading reviews, especially one, where buyer was saying they had gallbladder, but liked to eat fatty rich foods, just like myself, I decided try Bilex. Received it Thu April 30th, took 3 pills while eating. Fri May1st, took 3pills during breakfast and 3pills during late lunch, Sat May2nd - same thing 3+3pills, Sun took 3pills with breakfast, Mon 4th May took 3 pills with breakfast. This awful sweetish/bitter/pukey taste is gone about 80% as I write this review!I realize as we get older, digestive system slows down. One can not eat as they used to in their 20s. Even tho, I dont gain weight, there is still price to pay. I learned my lesson this time! Bilex helped me reduce this awful taste by 80% in 5 days!I will use up this bottle and buy 1 or 2 for back up. I also got back to normal eating routine - eat hearty breakfast and lunch, but only salad or apple for dinner. No more late rich dinners and vine drinking! This awful taste was the WORST ever I had! And if before regular enzymes helped, this time I needed something much more serious, to help break down fatty foods. Some reviews complain about awful smell. Yes, it does smell like vomit. My Cat loved this funky smell =) When I opened bottle, she got whiff, came right at me, put her paw on my hand, pulled down bottle to her nose and wouldnt stop sniffing...eeeewwww =) Size of the pill is not terribly big and I dont have issue of gulping down all 3 at the same time. I would do most anything, to get rid of this awful taste! Bilex helped me great deal! I will take it every day for a month and buy 1-2 bottles for reserve. People who complain it doesnt work, need to be patient. Give at least 2 weeks, maybe even a month. Depending on your health issue. We harm our bodies slowly, day after day, and sometimes damage can not be reversed quickly. It may take time. I personally can say Bilex works for me! I still have slight residue of bitterness, but its nothing like it was a week ago, before I got Bilex! I give it 5***** I personally recommend this product. I wrote this long review, hopeing, it would help other peoples understand and make decision. I started taking this at the beginning of January and by the end of the first week, I was feeling much relief in my gallbladder. For context, I landed in the hospital with gallstone attacks on NYE, worst attack out of a series that hit over months. I was referred to GI, who immediately insisted I look into surgery. Naturally, I immediately sought less invasive treatment on my own.I was told about ox bile by an aunt who has very similar issues. With good faith, high hopes, and nothing to lose, I went for it. Haven't looked back. I take three with every meal, and sometimes three more a couple hours later if it was a heavy meal following a fast. I have now gone a month and a half without a single gallbladder attack, and have returned to most normal foods that I'd cut out before my issues flared up.This brand is affordable and effective, and I highly recommend.

I've had gallbladder issues for year, yet refuse to have surgery unless I absolutely have to. A few years ago I changed my diet working towards improved gut health, less indigestion problems, and hopefully healing my gallbladder. While I made great strides, I still had frequent problems. Last year I started a keto diet and while many other things improved, my gallbladder protested.A doctor recommended trying "Bile Salts". I've tried a few brands that worked with varying success. There was improvement but it was minimal. That is until I found this brand. I think the combination of Bile Salts and Digestive Enzymes is the key. I noticed a significant improvement in gallbladder pain after only 2 days of using this supplement, 1 with each meal. A couple weeks into using it now and I don't have any indigestion, bloating, nausea, or gallbladder pain even with higher fat meals. I haven't had any other gastro or digestion problems often associated with the use of bile salts. These just work for me and with a great price point they will be continue to be a frequent purchase.

I had to have my gallbladder removed after having my daughter. Apparently it's very common to have gallbladder attacks after giving birth (would've been nice to know in advance). I struggled for months with weight gain, lethargy, and feeling like there was a huge pit in my stomach all the time. I knew changing my diet alone wasn't helping. I started taking these supplements before every meal, and I believe it helps me digest my food and not have that "pit in my stomach" feeling. However, I also take pre and probiotics in my tea every morning and juice each morning. I also have ankylosing spondylitis (auto inflammatory disease) and don't eat any foods considered nightshades to reduce the inflammation. I think it's also important to eliminate or restrict dairy intake if you've lost your gallbladder. I'm mentioning all of these other things because I can't say with 100% certainty that these supplements alone have helped to make me feel normal again. I've lost weight, I have more energy, my joints aren't in pain anymore. But I changed many things in my diet at once. However I know that I will always take one of these before each meal, and I don't feel as good if I forget one!

Terrible right side pain every time I had this supplement. Have to stop taking it.
