Holds my AM coffee and PM wine
Exactly what I was expecting for a $20 table -- if you are looking for fine craftsmanship and high art, maybe plan your next vacation to the Amish Country and plan to spend ten times as much. The metal on these tables is "burnished" which means they come out of the box looking purposely distressed. The table top is not a solid piece of wood, but has a wood-grain sticker on it. (Use a coaster!) Sturdy enough for small objects or even a dinner plate, but I wouldn't put anything too heavy on it.ASSEMBLY TIP: Start by hand-tightening the screws with the flat ends and leave them all a bit loose until you've put all 8 of them in place. You may need to start one or two with your screwdriver, but in any case leave it loose. Then, once they're all in place, tighten them the rest of the way to make sure each piece is lined up. Then you can turn it upside down to attach the top piece. Overall, assembly was pretty easy, but it might pose a bit of a challenge if you're not so handy.

Perfect little table!!
I've been looking for a little table to use with my sofa. I've been tripping over a tray table that I've been using in the middle of the floor and needless to say it's been a royal pain. The sofa has one long bench cushion and one long tufted attached back cushion so there is no place to tuck any kind of device between cushions. I saw this little table that fits over the sofa seat cushion and in spite of the bad reviews decided to order it as the price was right. Well I have been absolutely delighted with it! I've had it for about three weeks now and am so glad I ordered it. Contrary to reviews that said it was flimsy or wobbly, it is quite sturdy. The base tucks under the sofa and fits over my sofa cushion perfectly; it's not meant to be a stand alone table so I've had no trouble with it tipping over. It's exactly the right size for holding a glass of water, remotes, my crochet hooks and scissors. I wasn't expecting an expensive, hand crafted piece of heirloom furniture so I haven't been disappointed with the quality and personally, I like the leaf design. Highly recommend this product, as long as you understand what you are getting you won't be disappointed.

Redder, can put together mostly by hand, top doesn’t fit quite right
Works perfectly next to my recliner. As noted by others, it does not fit over the arm but does fit over the seat with the footrest down. In terms of putting it together, most of it was pretty straightforward and mine did come with some not-so clear instructions but there are only a few pieces so it was easy to figure out. Most of the parts I could almost entirely screw in by hand (if it was hard then the angle was wrong) except for the top. The holes didn’t seem to quite match up with the base so I screwed in 3 using a hand tool at an angle, but as others have said it is basically particle board, so if you can I recommend just making new holes wherever you want them. The little feet that people have been referring to are small and can be adjusted for uneven surfaces, but do not contribute to the structural stability that I could tell so if you don’t want them you could always substitute with something else to prevent floor scuffing for non-carpeted areas. The top isn’t as small as I feared from the reviews and is perfectly capable of holding my water bottle and a regular sized bowl/small plate (though a large plate wouldn’t fit). It is much redder than it appears in the photo (more like the extendable version) so that is of note. Overall it suits my purpose and I love the little leaf design. Would recommend for what it is.

Buyer beware...
One part of me wishes I had heeded other reviews for this table. Another part says you get what you pay for. But actually, I think this will be ok for what I intended. The package arrived in the 2 days prime allows. The shipping carton was in fine shape, the box from the factory was crunched on both ends. It was damaged enough that when I slid the contents out, the rail bars as they call them, stuck in the bottom of the box so even when shaken, I didn't see them. This piece should have been faster to assemble, it's really quite simple. Simple that is if you have all the parts at hand & all the holes align & all the screws fit in their designated places. It would have been easy. But that was not the case. Eventually, I just put it together without one bolt, since it wouldn't fit into the built-in nut in the rail bar. I tried all 4 bolts in that hole & none would work, but they were fine in the other holes, so I know it's a flaw in the nut. I am hoping the back edge holds together. I plan to use it in our camper by the couch to hold a cup of coffee & maybe the remote, if my husband lets me have it. :-) It is made a bit chintzy, & the vines will pop right off the spot welds if you're not careful. But as I said, you get what you pay for.

affordable cute little table for rooms where space is limited
I think it's a great little table for the money. My mom had one first, and so I already knew what I was buying when I decided to order my own. It is small, and it wouldn't take much to tip it over, but it fits in tight spaces, it looks pretty nice, and 20 bucks with free shipping is fantastic for someone like me on a budget. you might want to measure your furniture before purchasing this to make sure it will suit your purposes, because like I said, it's a small little table. It fits just right in my little reading nook, perfect size to put a cup of coffee on.

Cute little thing
I needed a drink side table and this is exactly it. It is super cute, very light, so be careful moving around it, it'll be easily knocked if you are clumsy. It is perfect to have a drink by your side. You can put a glass and a snack on it, or a glass and a phone on it, maybe a small book, but nothing more. Well, it's a drink side table after all. I like it. It was fun and easy to assemble too. You will need a small Philips screwdriver.
