I'd had a little cat tent that lasted for years and years and finally was falling apart so much that it would qualify as an open sitting area rather than an enclosed tent. I wanted something that wasn't overly large as my cats like to have a small hideout on the basement stairs landing when it storms or they are looking for safe harbors.Enter this long named cat bed. It took a day or two before my little feline buddies cuddled up to it and then they were hooked. I've found each of them taking it over during the day and night. It's just the right size as they seem (who can tell with a cat) to feel secure and I see a little head and sometimes a little foot stick out as I walk down the stairs.They liked it so much that I had to order a second one since one or the other were always trying to take it over. This ended up a big hit and I'm glad I got it. Not sure about cleaning it - I'm sure it will collect fur a lot, although it appears to be fairly easy to clean if you don't let it get out of hand.

My cat can be a total picky noodle. He doesn't like to scratch anything that he will lay on, he won't play for long if he knows I'm the one moving the toy, anything he scratches HAS to be tall so he can stretch on it, his food has to be on some type of furniture or he won't touch it, and he loves... to eat... clear tape/plastic... I have to be really on top of keeping him away from that.I was extremely unsure if he would actually use this bed because when I got a similar bed for his mom, she never touched it, and my boyfriend swore up and down he would never use it.HOWEVER... the moment I set it up, he was totally for it. He's currently sleeping in it as I write this.I definitely think he likes little hovels now and I can't wait to get him more things like this, thank you so much for helping me find something else he enjoys.

I got what I expected- nothing too sturdy, but it's not falling-apart-cheap. It is a little soft in structure, but mine still holds it's shape. The door was a bit small for my skeptical cat, so I unzipped the front flap, pushed it into the house, and put the pillow on top. She's slept in it multiple times since I got it 3 days ago.One could easily add a wire in around the door entrance for extra structure. Pillow case comes off which is nice, too.

We have a 10 year old, 12 lb., prior injured rescue cat that likes to lay on anything that is soft (can't blame him!). He will seek out the softest spot anywhere in the house to lay. He is also nervous of things, so I wasn't sure if it would take time for him to warm up to the idea of a new bed/hideout. I quickly assembled it (very easy!), and set it down for him to inspect. I walked into another room, came back, and found him settled right in like he was sleeping on a cloud, it was just right!! He spent hours in it right off. He likes it so much we will likely purchase another for him to have one on each level of the house. The style of it is very nice, does not look cheap. It is very soft, all surfaces, not just the exterior. (He was enjoying the winter sunset in the picture)

I am not happy with this product! I paid 27.99 for it and they obviously didn't even pay half that to make it! It's cheap foam n material! Came in packaging stuffed in bag wrong so it had creases that made it deformed and if my animals climb it will just cave in. If it wasn't as much as I paid for it obviously I wouldn't be so up set!!

I have 2 small dogs (7LBS and 11LBS) and for the most part they are inseparable. I bought them a large covered bed and the would go in and out most of the night as sleeping together made them too warm. Now, with the small bed, the little dog sleeps in it most the the time.The drawback is the big dog will get up at night and climb on top of the small bed to sleep, smashing it flat and forcing the little dog to go back into the big bed.That;s OK, they are so close they don't seem to mind.

Bed was exactly what I needed but the first time I hand washed it, the pillow shredded apart in my hands. I filled the washer tub with warm water but did not turn it on, I hand washed the pillow and was going to line dry it. But while washing it, it immediately shredded like tissue paper. Disappointing as I loved this bed.

I love this cave for our cat. We recently adopted her and she was terrified of anyone and everything. She was hiding under our bed for a whole week only came out to eat and drink and use her litter box when we either weren’t home or were sleeping. She has moved to the cave. She is now content and isn’t afraid of us. She feels safe in that cave and it’s definitely something I’ll be taking with us to our next home as well as buying another or multiples to have safe places for her around the house. It’s amazing!
