Felt the coating was to thick. Couldn't taste the nut inside due to coating.

These nuts must be very old or improperly stored because the oils in the nuts are rancid and they are disgusting.

If you can't crunch on hard nuts, pass on these. They were tasty and I didn't have an issue. They are just REALLY hard.
