You don't have one? What are you waiting for?
This thing is awesome.!!!! My sister owned a food truck and I loved working with her on it. She had a fry cutter that was a twist down handle. Not the fondest of that model. It worked ok but was a lot of twisting on that handle. No this baby! Yeah, It cuts good, is sturdy and best of all is the fact that I can have a batch of french fries cut up in less than a minute, and the little cube potatoes and onions in less than 5 minutes. I do a lot of cooking for events at out church and I know this will come in handy on those occasions also. There is only 1 thing I would add to make this a 10 star cutter and that would be some kind of suction cups on the feet. But I also like the fact that it doesn't have them so I am at a draw on this issue.I put the entire cutter on a cookie sheet to slice the potatoes and it catches all of them for me. I don't seem to have a pan or bowl that will fit between the legs. But still better then the one that my sister had by a long shot. Hers had to be attached to the counter (with screws) and you had to try and balance something on the legs to catch the fries. Now that was a hassle!!!!! Especially in a fast paced business with customers watching the entire time. Wish we would have had this one when we were doing that!!!I would say this is definately worth the price and possibly even more (don't be getting any dumb idea on raising the price there people) and the ease of use is great. If you don't have one and you love fries as much as my family does this is a must have gadget. Mine never leaves the cabinet it is used so often.

Went beyond expectations. Great job seller!
Very sharp and very nice! Could have got 1 through this other company for several times the price. Glad i went with this one.

Blades broke within a week
This unit gets heavy use on a daily basis cutting carrots but still would have expected the blades to last a little longer. It's a good unit otherwise but be prepared to replace the blades frequently. Also, it does come with 2 replacement blades but they are REALLY difficult to replace (took over an hour) so may have to buy the complete cutting place for $13 or so.This would probably work well for softer veggies and less use.

Best money I ever spend in my entire life!
I make fries like 2 to 3 times a week I haven't bought a frozen fry since I bought it. My kids even use it it works so well and it's very sturdy. I don't anticipate having any problems with it had it a couple months months now and used it easily 25 times 4 to 9 potatoes at a time Sometimes use it for tomatoes and other vegetables works well.

Love this thing!
I have had this for about six months, and use it regularly. I do a lot of cooking for my church, and for the elderly. In doing so, I am forever chopping onions, green peppers and I used to use canned chopped tomatoes, rather than fresh, to save time. This chopper makes everything so much easier; takes a couple of minutes to do two onions, four green peppers, and a pile of roma tomatoes. The key is finding a container to place under the chopper, to catch the chopped vegetables. I was able to find a small (just under 7") square Tupperware container, which had diagonal cuts on the corners; it fits perfect. Without this, the chopped vegetables end up everywhere... I am sure you could use a cake pan, and place a towel under the pan so that it would not shift; I find the small bowl works better. Also worth noting, this is not a commercial grade chopper. If you had to do a 50 pound bag of onions every day, you would be well served to get a chopper that costs about $200; something that will hold up under vigorous work. For most people working in their kitchens, this thing is great. I am quite sure it will last my lifetime; it is not cheap, but I am also not pounding through onions 100 times a day. Finally, it is better to cut and obviously peal the onions before chopping them. Placing them with the cut side facing down will make the job much easier. I cut green peppers into quarters, and tomatoes in half; always placing the cut side down, on top of the blades. This thing will save you a lot of time, maybe a few close calls on cut fingers, and you will have uniform pieces of the vegetables you are chopping in no time... Get one now!

Very disappointed about 1 major issue...
Which is that I have been unable to find a new fry cutting dye to change it out with 1/4in to 1/2in or the 3/8in. This one issue is why I do not recommend this product to anyone and if I knew that I could not change out the cutter, I would most definitely not have bought the first one.Another issue, is that I reached out to Happybuy asking for information on getting a replacement dye or to change out the size, and they did not reply. I was going to give them 2 stars, but because they did not get back with me, I am giving this item a 1 star, because of both of these reasons combined.

Works okay
Bought this for use in a small restaurant kitchen, over all it does what we need it to do but I wish I would have ordered the model with the handle. It works, but you have to push the block down multiple times to get it to push a tomato or onion through. Also some what difficult to clean but we have had similar choppers before and that seems to be a universal issue
