Nice for practice!

As a beginner flamenco dance student I purchased this brand as others in class had this brand. I was surprised that the ends of the castenet cords seemed unfinished-one was frayed and the other seemed to be glued. But even the picture on the box shows unfinished ends of cords (not like shoelaces). I chose these because I needed a smooth flat round surface to learn on. They are plastic but seem to make a fine sound except that, as I have learned, there should be a sound distinction between a 'high' castanet and a 'low' castanet. I don't know how important that differentiation should be but for these castanets it's a very subtle difference to notice. I'm neutral about whether I would recommend these. I would say after you pay for lessons and the shoes and the skirt you may as well get decent castanets, but I think these will be fine for my purposes.

I am a dance teacher and I like this castanets because they make it on the professional way . no matter beginner or Senior . And they also packed it very well. love it!
