Maille Mustard, Old Style, 7.3 oz (Pack of 6)

The first time I had a whole grain mustard was when I visited Poland and while I had liked mustard before, I became in love obsessed with it after the fact. I am a person that could easily eat a jar of pickles or olives and I was so surprised by the fact that I would eat spoonfuls of that mustard I had in Poland all by itself.I too have eaten spoonfuls of this product just by itself as well. Great Quality!

Great flavor and the texture is amazing! And I am a mustard lover! Literally pops in your mouth (some say like caviar, but I've never had caviar (did I spell that right?).

This is hard to find where I live. I love the taste.

It is completely free of unpleasant ammonia smell!

I ran out of my imported french whole grain mustard and had to find a replacement. Trying to find a whole grain mustard can be hard depending on where you live. I eventually found this little jar of Maille at one of the fancier groceries...but it was so expensive for the tiny amount in the jar. So I hopped on Amazon and found this great 6 pack with a reasonable price.No real issues but when shipping 6 glass jars together...there probably should be some buffer material between each jar. Super happy none of mine broke.The package did seem to be factory direct so I imagine the seller can't really do much to fix the packaging issue.

I bought this deal, six jars for just over $5, I couldn't resist. Once it arrived, I noticed none of the lids were depressed, indicating a proper seal, but I can't tell for sure, maybe that's normal for Maille. The mustard seeds are less distinctive than I thought they would be, and there's zero bite. The lids seemed to be popped even though the paper seal was intact. Mustard loses it's strength once opened or exposed to air. Buying canned goods is a cr__shoot on Amazon. I can't tell you how many times things like jelly or preserves arrive with the lids popped. A lot. The bottom line is I need to figure out what to do with the rest of this because it's pretty boring as far as I'm concerned. There's an odd sliminess to the liquid as well. I think if you mixed it with a good Dijon or yellow, it would be better. Their Dijon and whole mustard is fine, this...I won't be buying this Old Style again.
