I had my doubts about spening that kind of money for something like this, but it was totally worth it. It seems pretty straight, the mechanism looks well made, it's so easy to use. And, it clamps very well. My only complaint might be that you need to disassemble it to clean it when you get it and that was a little difficult for me. Maybe if I were stonger or something it'd be ok, but I'm not. Anyway, get a towel or rag to help hold the end of the thing when you take it apart since the edge is kind of sharp.I've only used the 24 inch one so far, but I'm sure the others are ok too..

These things are amazing and massive time savers. I've used a version of these but with manual clamps for a while now and finally decided to give these a try. The quick clamp function not only saves a bunch of time tightening and loosening clamps to adjust my old straight edge but the fact there aren't any clamps getting in the way while I'm making a cut has made breaking down plywood a breeze. My only regret is not getting these sooner.

Cut some full sheets today...these make it super easy.The only thing I wish for is an attachment for square alignment. I am using it with a large carpenter square, which seems to work, but something more intentional and permanent would be nice.

Much less expensive than similar edge clamps from many other manufacturers, the one serious downcheck to these is that you cannot "add" two of them together to make a much longer clamp, as those tend to support. This is fine if you are ok with limiting your distance to the longest of the three, but, if you were going to deal with full sheets of plywood, you're kind of SOL.Personally, not clear why they did not design them to enable such, even if they didn't provide a connector as part of the set. The design makes doing anything of that sort difficult, even if you wanted to rig up a connector piece to manage it.

These things work perfectly. I recommend them to whoever works with wood.

I've been using them off and on for about a year and love em. Way cheaper than a good track saw. They lock tight and don't move. I mostly use these for plywood using a router. I use them with an 6 inch igaging speed square and it does a great job keeping my cuts square.

I bought these clamps in hopes they were strait enough to be a good strait edge.they are great wish I'd bought these years ago.i free hand router signs and alot of other things.these work great for running strait lines.they came quickly and work well.the clamp itself has three ways to lock.thwy will lock down very tight and not move or a gentle clamp till you elign the clamp so you can still move the clamps to desired place.i would recommend these to anyone.the only complaint is they are a little high in price but if you need them get them.

I have some older guide clamps that are basically garbage. They require extra clamps to hold them in place and have metal clamping impediments in the way of a saw. I got sick of that nonsense. Nothing sucks more than a guide clamp "wandering" in the middle of a cut on a $350 door.This clamp set is extraordinarily well made, has aggressive clamping force, does not leave marks, even in yellow pine. This set arrives just In time for a job I had where in had to install 6 heavy, solid core prehung doors. That included close tolerance cut lines on 6 panel solid core yellow pine doors and these clamps delivered big time.The photo shows the Pro Grip edge clamp on the left hand side. The yellow arrow shows the locking handle and as you can see, when you flip it down to lock, it’s out of the way. There is also a very handy tape measure on the top of the ProGrip model. My older models I bought years ago on the right side show that the locking handle, indicated with the black arrow, blocks the board if you are making a cut. It’s an annoying set up - the Pro Grip are a HUGE improvement!Hope this helps!
