Bad Pump Applicator !!
I believe the solution works but the spray pump quit working. I was able to pour the contents into another pump sprayer to finish one application. Yes I did shake it before using! My sprayer used up what was left so I will not be able to do the second recommended 7 days later application unless I buy a different brand! With the original pump applicator, I could have had several applications. I needed to get the stuff on my tulips.! The rabbits were destroying them. The pump did ok when it worked. Very disappointed ! Waste of my money !

Keeping Deer and Burning Bush Apart
Whenever I applied this item around our burning bush as instructed, the deer stayed away.Otherwise, they ate our bush like candy.

Was once good, now trash...
I've used this product many times in the past without issue but I don't know if this newest purchase was a bad batch or if the company changed the mixture because this purchase has been a maddening mistake that I'll never make again. An expensive mistake at that.I can vigorously shake the container for 10 minutes, then pour 16 ounces into a bottle and shake that vigorously for many more minutes. Then add that bottle to 2 gallons of water within the sprayer and then shake the mixture vigorously for many minutes more. And STILL, after spraying for only mere seconds, the high granular content of the formula will clog the sprayer.Thought it was the sprayer, it was old after all, bought another, same issue with the new one. Yet once I take the sprayer(s) apart and clean them of the sandy residue (shouldnt be necessary), I can spray the Deer Out product with NO ISSUE, same with any and all other solutions or concentrated mixtures. But once I return for another attempt with Nature's Mace, yet again after a ridiculous amount of shaking every step of the way, clogged again within 5 seconds.Ridiculous.

Spray Mechanism is Defective
Whereas I know this product is very effective in deterring deer and rabbits (from a bottle I purchased locally), the spray mechanism for this particular bottle is defective. I squeezed the trigger and had a great, fine spray of the product one time. After that.... nothing. I tried loosening the nozzle cap, tightening the nozzle cap, twisting it to all different "locations", each time re-priming the trigger many, many times..... nothing came out, and the highest the product in the tube in the bottle ever came up the tube was about one inch up from the bottom (after squeezing the trigger 25 times each time I twisted the nozzle cap). Spent probably 15 minutes trying every position possible for the nozzle cap and was never able to get a drop to come out. Because we are about to have a couple of days without rain (washing off the product), I resorted to splashing the product out of the bottle, hardly an effective way to get it on all of the plant. Moving on to the product itself: smells very mildly of mint with a tiny trace of garlic, not at all offensive to use in that regard. With the original bottle I bought locally, I sprayed in the evening for two consecutive nights when the temperature was down to the eighties, and again with the very small remaining bit of product several days later. Whereas that bottle did create spray, it was exhausting having to prime the trigger so frequently to release the liquid. The company needs to either improve the trigger mechanism, or sell it for less without a trigger, and let people find another vehicle to spread it. Great product but very disappointing and frustrating delivery system.

Appears to work
Product appears to work; even after rain.Applying once a week.Other reviewers said the spray clogged, so I used a 16 oz water bottle filled with water to clean out the sprayer; to flush out any residue from the deer mace. Seems to have worked as I’ve had no problem with it clogging. Will try using it to discourage chipmunks from tunneling under my plants. Two months later, still working on deer, but not rabbits because I’ve not sprayed in the last 3 weeks. I soaked the leaves the 1st time, and even after a week of rain, I still smelt the scent of garlic. So it’s pretty long lasting. Probably need to reapply more frequently on plants the rabbits love.

Spray nozzle doesn’t work
I ordered this and the nozzle will not spray. I ordered another to exchange and it came with NO nozzle at all. I called the company and she was very nice and took my information to send me another replacement. It arrived today and guess what?? THE SPRAY NOZZLE DOESN’T WORK!!!! Gee!! If I want to even try the product at all I’m going to have to buy my own sprayer. I really didn’t want to have to leave a negative review, but this is ridiculous. This company needs to get their sprayer act together. I can’t even tell you if the product itself works because I haven’t gotten to use it. The only reason I gave it two stars was because the girl was nice that I talk to on the phone and tried to be accommodating but still no working spray nozzle. Other reviews say the same thing.
