I was sceptical as to how bright this light would be, I am not disappointed. I needed a light to put in the loft ready for a plumber to work up there. This lamp lights up the whole loft just as good as full daylight. No need for the mobile phone torch or anything else. The construction is also surprisingly sturdy with good quality metal, not the cheap thin sort that used to come from China. This is all reflected in the weight of the item which is light enough to easily move around but from the weight you can tell it is strong metal. I read a review saying that the person had to add washers to get things to tighten up, I had no need to do this, it was perfectly tight when the collars are tightened. This is an excellent lamp at a very good price, the relative cheapness is the only thing that makes you have doubts as to its quality and brightness, when you receive the lamp those doubts vanish. I would certainly buy another.

I've been pointing it up at the ceiling, the light spread easily lights a room while working. Cable length is also decent, with hooks for stowing after use. It’s also stable after you get it put up.My only concern is how warm this gets, 50C+ which won’t help the longevity of the LEDs. For the cost though, I think this is great value and it should last until the house is complete.

This was just what I wanted.Most of the similar items I could find were either;rechargeable (a pain when they go flat,)110V (need to buy a power unit,)2 lamps on top (far too bright)Or 3 times the price.So, it ticked all the above boxes.Downsides (minor);The power cord is not that long, but I have extension cables, so not an issue.The only real complaint would be that as is comes it is really rather wobbly. Tightening of the bolts responsible did not help, the clamps were simply not designed to do up any tighter, leaving big gaps. so I added 2 plain washers to the top of each stay, to take out the gap and it’s now as solid as one would expect for the price.It is bright. I like it. Happy.Minor modifications to items in this price range are (by me at least) expected.

I bought this for my studio room to add extra light. It’s fantastic. I can angle it up and down to where I need light the most. The tripod is light but very sturdy. I have also used it in my hallway while repainting the walls. I can highly recommend this light

I need help to see craftwork now and this lamp couldn’t be better.Also lights up outside for autumn bbq etc. Anything is possible with this light.Not sure of its longevity as I’ve only had it a short while.
