Hydrocollator Heating Element 1000W 120V

Works great. Easy fix

The heating element was sent in a box. That was all no packaging wrap or bubble wrap. Heating element was bent from bouncing around in the box. The element lasted 12 months two weeks. It was the heating element, 2 bolts and 2 washers that came in the box unprotected. The washers were larger than the actual washers that came with the original Chattanooga hydrocollator. I just repurchased from another location washers are original and it was packaged properly. I would not recommend even though a few dollars cheaper then other sellers online.

Pretty disappointed with Hydrocollator as a company they try to talk you into replacing the thermostat, reset switch and the heating element; a total of almost $200 and then they say you might as well buy a new one.Well, the heating element takes 10 minutes to replace and under 60 bucks. As another reviewer said, unless it is wildly not regulating temp, ie boiling the pads then it is not the thermostat.Mine just quit heating well, replaced element and now works. Good thing I was going to buy a different brand of hot pad heater.
