I like that the Maxell CD-R Discs 700MB/80min 48x Spindle Silver 50/Pack MAX648250 discs have lines on them for writing what's on your disc. The lines and brand name are subdued and don't detract from the look. The discs burned perfectly and sound fine. $14.80 for 50 discs on March 16, 2024.

We bought these to make Christmas decorations and not to record stuff with. So I can't tell you how they work for that. I can only tell you that these make great stained glass ornaments for Christmas or any time of year for your ornamentation. So food for thought and everything can be used for something else.

I got these because, a couple weeks prior I had gotten the rewritable disks and they didn't work in my car... so I got these hoping they would, and they do... so yay! They're great.. they fit allot of music on them... especially if you change the settings to have 1 second pause between songs, or no pause at all... :) also being able to write on the disk is nice. I wrote notes on them to remember which tracks are my favorite. ^_^

Of late it has been hard to find Maxell (or any other decent brand) of recordable CD-R's in my neck of the woods (NE Ohio). So I heartily recommend that you get these Maxell spindles for your data and music recording. The "Brand X" varieties leave me cold; they are generally of poor quality, having to discard as many as one in five discs as defective. Remember the maxim of the great John Ruskin; "There is hardly anything that someone cannot make more poorly and sell more cheaply. The person who buys on price alone is this man's lawful prey."

These are great cd's, I have never had a bad one in the whole container, which I have bought several of. When you get great results with a certain brand, you stick with it. The price is great on these to. I see lower priced ones, but not a name I know, so I will stick with what works for me! I have music on these cd's that are very old and they still play great every time. I used to make back-ups copies , don't have to do that with the Maxell, I fully trust they will work each and every time.

Not many people are going to need this many CDs but if you do, this deal is the one for you. I have worked through less then half of them after spending months burning music for my friends and family that still have the good old CD player in their cars. Definitely recommend.
